Alec DuBreuil is a 2015 OF/RHP, C with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Brevard, NC who attends Brevard. DuBreuil has a lean athletic build. Hits from both sides of the plate. From the right side hits from a slightly open stance, line drive swing plane with good bat speed and barrel control. Has lift in swing and makes consistent contact. From the left side, square stance with short leg lift trigger. Shorter to ball with extension. Pull approach from both sides, hands work well from right side. Defensively, from the OF, good actions and feet work well. Has quick transfer and release. Accurate throws with carry. Behind the plate, low set up, gains ground with footwork, has clean transfer and release. Also pitches. Online delivery with a high 3/4 arm slot. Fastball has good am side run. Showed slider with good shape when down in zone. Outstanding student.
