Cam Hoines is a 2018 C/3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends Bishop Verot High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.64 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, side saddle start and received the ball out front. Higher transfer and takeaway with raw arm strength and a workout pop time of 2.05. At the plate, started with a spread stance, open base, tight, low hand set, and a quicker toe tap timing mechanism. Used an up the middle and opposite field approach with longer hand path to the ball Raw bat speed with a minimal weight shift and should continue to incorporate lower half.
