Alec Creel is a 2016 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Wake Forest, NC who is home schooled. Large frame, solid and physical build with good athleticism. Primary right handed pitcher, has very repeatable delivery, stays balanced and online well. Long, loose arm action to a high 3/4 arm slot, very quick through the path. Creates downhill plane, works consistently in upper-80s, running fastball all the way up to 91 mph. Ability to mix in a quality curveball with 11/5 shape and good depth, spin. Also, flashes a solid third offering in changeup with good tailing action and armspeed. Flashed solid command and feel of entire arsenal. Also showcased quality defensive skills from infield and outfield with good agility, quick release, and accurate throws. Right handed hitter, spread stance with strength and some bat speed. Uses entire field and flashes power. Texas Christian commit. Named to Top Prospect List. Outstanding student.
