Nic Nolan is a 2018 SS/IF, 2B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Niceville, FL who attends Niceville Senior High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean and projectable build with room to fill throughout. Outstanding runner, posted a 6.69 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front and shows soft hands picking the ball, quick footwork and shows solid range to either side, hands play nicely, sound actions moving towards the ball, gets in good position to throw with lower arm slot across the diamond, arm strength will continue to develop nicely. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high back elbow in the box and uses a small leg lift trigger for timing. Quick hands in the box with a nice contact oriented approach, line drive swing plane with extension out front and ability to work all fields. Solid feel for the barrel, shows timing with swing and projects well with additional physical strength. Very good student.
