Josh Bledsoe is a 2018 C/RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Campobello, SC who attends Chapman High School. Large frame with a tall, athletic build and room to continue to develop physically. Primary catcher, showed an accurate arm and a longer arm action with a top pop time of 2.03 in workouts. At the plate, started with a wide, open base with a lower hand set and leg lift timing mechanism. Quick line drive plane through the zone with barrel turn and feel. Strikes ball well and drives it with an emphasis to his pull side with good power potential. Also pitched, showed short arm action with a fastball that worked 80-83 mph with arm side life. Mixed in a curveball at 67 mph with 11-5 shape and flashed sharpness along with a changeup with slight fade at 76 mph. Exceptional student. Named to Top Prospect List.
