Eligha Lewis is a 2016 1B/OF, 3B with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Mission Bay. Lewis has a large frame with a strong physical build. Defensively he showed developing defensive actions at 1B with developing footwork around the bag. Lewis throws from a lower arm slot with developing arm strength up to 75 MPH from the outfield. At the plate, Lewis starts with a deep hand set and has a loose swing. He has some bat speed and some length to his swing. Lewis takes an aggressive swing at the plate and showed some pop. He has good strength in his hands and wrists and projects for more power. Lewis has some raw hitting tools that could really develop with a few adjustments. Excellent student.
