Connor Smith is a 2015 SS/2B, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Midland, MI who attends H.H. Dow. Medium, athletic build with room to fill. Very good runner, posting top 60 time of the event at 6.51. Smooth defensive actions at shortstop and moves well laterally to both his left and right. Short arm action with playable strength across the infield. Arm will get stronger with added strength. Right-handed hitter, sound approach at the plate. Stays inside the ball well and has a short, quick swing with a line drive swing plane. Named to Top Prospect List. Good student.
