Reed LaBar is a 2016 3B/MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Encinitas, CA who attends La Costa Canyon. Medium, lean frame, has a lot of room to grow. Arm strength is still developing on the infield but makes consistently accurate throws. Shows good range up the middle. Bats right-handed, works from an upright, slightly open stance. Hits the ball hard to the middle of the field and finishes high with his hands. Squares the ball up consistently and extends well. Very good student.
