Nate Collins is a 2015 RHP with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Gulf Coast HS. Big athletic build, good present strength. Low arm slot pitcher, release point is between sidearm and submarine, shows good command of low 70's fastball, keeps it down in the zone and attacks hitters with it, slow sweeping slider is effective, gets lots of outs with breaking ball and command. Pitching style works and he executes it well and fills up the strike zone in the right places. Another look, whether it be a change up or harder breaking ball, would be a benefit. Excellent student.
