Garrett Crook is a 2013 C/OF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Burleson, TX who attends Burleson Centennial HS. Smaller compact frame with some present strength. 7.51 runner, nice low set up behind the plate, quick transfer and release, 1.90 best pop time. stays balanced, receives comfortably, showed good instincts and game awareness defensively. Right handed hitter, open stance, strides in with good shift, loose low effort swing, good balance, handles the barrel well, solid line drive contact, good path to the ball, makes adjustments to off speed well, confident hitter. Nice all around player who can play at the college level. Good student.
