Justin Barr is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 5-11 163 lb. frame from Milton, FL who attends Milton HS. Compact, well-proportioned frame, lean athletic build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Switch hitter, has potential from both sides of plate. Shows aggressive hand path and approach with high finish from the right hand side. Solid bat speed and strength, with some impact off of the barrel, can be late with lower half. Hits from wider base from left side, shows ability to stay inside the baseball with measured approach, stays on the ball well. Circles the ball well in the infield, shows softer hands and quick transfer. Also pitches, has a compact arm swing, works to a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball up to 81 mph, shows command of offering, in the strike zone consistently. Flashes a 11/5 curverball with some depth. Excellent student.
