Izayah White is a 2015 SS/2B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Gaither. Medium, lean, athletic build with room to fill out. Ranges well to his left on the infield and has fluid, sound defensive actions. Makes athletic plays up the middle. Feet work well and has soft hands. Bats left-handed, uses a slashing, line drive style. Works from an open setup and shows good balance. Opens his front side early and shows solid bat speed. Stays short to the ball and looks to hit to all fields. Good student.
