Chase Trader is a 2015 LHP/OF/1B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Temple, GA who attends Bremen HS. Medium athletic build, lots of room to add strength. High 3/4's arm slot, low effort release drop and drive release, deep arm extension in back. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, mostly straight. Soft curveball, tends to cast curveball, would improve with better extension out front. Developing change up. 7.19 runner. Left handed hitter, graded out better as a hitter than pitcher this event, spread stance, rotational swing with some strength at contact, pull approach, has some present bat speed, hits to all fields and stays back well enough to drive the ball to the left side.
