Kris Dabrowiecki: Dabrowiecki is a 6-4 senior right handed pitcher from Ontario, Canada who is a front line prospect. He throws from a standard ¾’s release point with a fast, loose arm and generates a 87-90 mph fastball. Dabrowiecki threw a slider at 80-81 mph and a curveball at 76-77 mph. The curveball had better spin and a deeper 2-plane break, but the slider is real good also. Dabrowiecki also threw a good 78-80 mph change up. He has excellent mechanics, outstanding arm action, very good command and MLB velocity in a 6'4 projectable body. This young man has the makings of a very good power and finesse pitcher. MLB scouts should get all over this kid, he's the real deal! Kris has signed DI with Northeastern and Juco with Chipolla JC. He's avery good student, but he really should get drafted fairly well.
