Jesse Winker is a 2012 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends Olympia HS. Tall well proportioned body, very good strength. Outstanding hitting tools, effortless swing with plus bat speed, very quick hands, sees ball extremely well and knows the strike zone, patient hitter who explodes at the ball, lift in his swing, creates backspin and ball really carries, very confident hitting approach. Has improved defense and athleticism tremendously over the past year, 7.10 runner, strong arm, very sound footwork, accurate throws with a quick release. Also pitched and threw 90 mph from the left side, quick compact arm, threw strikes. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Florida. Named to the Perfect Game All American Classic team.
