2015 Top Prospects

Vincent Addona  SS - 2015 - Cary, NC

The owner of a short, compact swing, the infielder showed one of the best game approaches of the event, and also had the top infield velocity at 85 mph across the diamond.

Garrett Davila  LHP - 2015 - Belmont, NC
Tennessee

Projectable lefty reached 87 mph and flashed a sharp 11-5 curveball. Big upside and a pitcher to watch very closely.

Tyler Heinrichs  OF - 2015 - Marietta, GA
Tulane

Threw 88 mph from the outfield and showed a sound approach in game action, handling live pitching very well.

Derek Horton  OF - 2015 - Forest, VA
Charleston Southern

Horton showed a well rounded skill set, running a 6.91 60 yard dash, a professional approach at the plate and a compact swing that served him well in game action. He also threw 87 mph from the outfield.

Miles Michnowicz  RHP - 2015 - Bala Cynwyd, PA
Cumberland County College

Showcased a three pitch mix and good command. His fastball reached 83 mph and there appears to be more velocity on the way.

Christopher Proctor  C - 2015 - Lawndale, NC
Duke

Proctor showed arm strength from behind the plate, posting a 1.95 pop time, and from the outfield where he threw 85 mph.

Ausar Rankin  OF - 2015 - Statesville, NC

Showcased standout bat speed as well as foot speed (ran a 6.91 60 yard dash). Also posted a 1.97 pop time from behind the plate. He's a young bat to be watched very closely.

Aaron Rudisill  C - 2015 - Newton, NC
Liberty University

Drove the ball in BP as well as anyone at the event, showing quick wrists and good power potential. He also threw 77 mph from behind the plate and posted a 1.96 pop time.

Eric Sloper  MIF - 2015 - Catlett, VA
Shepherd College

Showed one of the best infield arms of the event, throwing 84 mph across the diamond, and also showed a compact swing and a good approach at the plate.


2016 Top Prospects

Justin Sorokowski  3B - 2016 - Mechanicsville, VA
Florida State

Topped out at 85 mph on the mound, and also showed a good feel for a sharp breaking ball. Has a lot of upside and will be watched closely.

Steven Carpenter  SS - 2016 - Quinton, VA
VCU

One of the most athletic players at the event, Carpenter stood out defensively, at the plate, and on the mound. He reached 84 mph on the mound.

Cam Locklear  SS - 2016 - Fayetteville, NC
Liberty University

Hit in game action perhaps better than anyone in attendance, and also ran the event's best 60 yard time (6.79). His combination of arm strength, speed, and ability at the plate is very intriguing.

Brett Cooksey  C - 2016 - Virginia Beach, VA
Bryant and Stratton College -VA

Had a share of the event's best pop time, posting a 1.95. Shows upside at the plate as well.

Ashton King  OF - 2016 - Christiansburg, VA

Ran a 6.85 60 yard dash, shows a strong arm, and had one of the quicker young bats on display at the event.

Quick twitch athlete and has a good feel from the left-hand side of the box. Threw 87 mph from the outfield and also showed speed that will be play on the bases.
