Georgia Jackets Win Championship 3-1

With offensive production from Will Lumpkin, (2016, Handley HS, AL) and Lee Kay, (2017, Carrollton HS, GA), the Georgia Jackets incorporated a stellar pitching performance to win the 15U BCS Championship 3-1 against the Scorpions Panhandle 2017. 
Lumpkin went 1-2 with a single and two RBIs to lead his team offensively, and Kay added a triple and RBI for the Georgia Jackets. Blake James, (2016, Atholton HS, GA) pitched three solid innings, only allowing one run on three hits while striking out two to earn the win. James primarily used his fastball that averaged between 75-77/81 mph, but also mixed in a changeup. Javier Valdes, (2016, John A. Ferguson HS, FL) pitched the final two innings, holding the Scorpions to no runs on one hit and struck out three to earn the save. 
Garrett Mathes, (2017, Lawton Chiles HS, FL) led the Scorpions offensively going 1-2 with an RBI single. Austin Pollock, (2017, Lincoln HS, FL) pitched two innings and didn't allow any runs or hits while striking out two. 

Georgia Jackets Blank Scorpions 11-0

The Georgia Jackets 15U scored runs in every inning and their pitching staff held the Scorpions Prime 2017 to just two hits in a 11-0 win. 
Lee Kay, (2017, Carrollton HS, GA) was the offensive leader for the Georgia Jackets going 2-3 with a double, three RBIs and a run scored. Will Lumpkin, (2016, Handley HS, AL) added two hits and an RBI. Cameron Turley, (2017, Mill Creek HS, GA) pitched 1.2 scoreless innings and only allowed one hit to earn the win. Austin Weiermiller, (2017, Alpharetta HS, GA) pitched 2.1 perfect innings and struck out four. His fastball clocked in between 81-83 mph and maxed out at 86 mph. He showed pinpoint command by effectively throwing to all sides of the plate and showed a deceptive changeup that was his out pitch. 
Graham Dvorak, (2017, The First Academy HS, FL) and Paul Russell, (2017, Winter Park HS, FL) each had a single for the the Scorpions Prime. 

Florida Burn Pennant Edge Out the Copperheads 3-2

The Florida Burn 2017 Pennant edged out the CBA Copperheads Elite 3-2 in a close ball game. Both starting pitchers threw very well. Rylee Buckmaster (2016, Venice Senior, FL) pitched five innings for the Florida Burn. He gave up two runs (one earned), four hits, one walk, and he struck out five Copperheads. Cody Russell (2017, Calvary Christian, GA) threw five quality innings for the Copperheads. He gave up three runs (two earned), six hits, two walks, and he struck out two. 

Graham Hoffman (2017, Calvary Christian, FL) stood out for the Florida Burn offense. He batted 2-3 with a double, a run scored, and a run batted in. 

Ellerson's Clutch Hit Gives Chain Black W

In a 7-7 tie in the bottom of the 7th inning, Milan Ellerson (2017, Camden County, GA) hit a walk-off single to give Chain Black the 8-7 victory over No Fear. Ellerson was productive all day at the plate going 2-3 with 2 RBI and a run scored. 

No Fear only managed 3 hits on the afternoon led by Dillion Lange (2016, Great Oak HS, CA) going 1-2 with 2 RBI, a walk, and a run scored in the losing effort. 

Tony Locey (2017, Hardaway HS, GA) picked up the win on the mound for Chain Black and showed impressive velocity on his fastball ranging from 84-89 with his 3.1 innings of work. Lefty, D.L. Hall (2017, Valdosta HS, GA) also was impressive on the mound showing an explosive fastball as well from 79-86/89 in his 2.2 innings of work. 

Teel Ravens Ravage the All American Prospects 10-1

The Teel Ravens had an offense that caught fire in the third inning. The Ravens posted six runs in the frame and the All American Prospects did not have an answer. Jack Darrow, Matthew Paiotti, and Jack DeSalvo led the offensive charge for the Ravens. Darrow (2017, Mahwah, NJ) batted 2-3 with a run batted in. Paiotti (2017, Indian Hills, NJ) contributed a run scored and two runs batted in. DeSalvo (2017, Glen Rock, NJ) added two runs batted in at the last spot in the line up. 

On the mound, Darrow tossed five innings for the Ravens. He only allowed one earned run and struck out three. 

Koa MacDougall (2016, Vero Beach, FL) represented the sole offensive force for the All American Prospects today. MacDougall batted 3-3 with three singles and he plated the only run for the Prospects. 

East Cobb Astros win big

East Cobb Astros 15u defeat SWFL Navy 15u 16-3. The Astros offense didn't miss a beat in the game getting 16 runs on 15 hits. They were led by Ethan Cady (2016, McCallie School HS,TN) who went 3-4 with 2 doubles a single, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. James Kirklin lll (2016, North Cobb HS, GA) also had a good day at the plate going 2-4 with a single , double and led the team with 3 RBI . Davis Schwartz (2016, Grady HS, GA) was 2-3 with 2 runs scored , getting a triple and 1 RBI. Brett Usry (2016, Schley County HS, GA) went 2-2 with 2 singles 1 RBI and 3 runs scored.

Picking up the win for the Astros was Nick Laster (2016, West Lake HS, GA). Laster went 3 innings giving up only 2 hits and no earned runs and striking out 3. Laster lived between 79-82 mph with his FB, hitting a high of 83 mph. 

IN Prospects Win a Pitcher's Duel Against Gothams

The Indiana Prospects and NY Gothams had a good ol' fashioned pitcher's duel. The Prospect's Garrett Welch proved to be too much for the Gothams. RHP Welch (2017, New Castle Chrysler, IN) tossed a complete game and only gave up one run. Welch limited the Gothams to one hit, only allowed one free pass, and struck out six hitters. Will Best threw well for the opposing Gothams. RHP Best (2017, Xavier, NY) threw five innings and he only allowed two earned runs. 

Rhett Wintner and Caleb Brenczewski paced the offense for the Prospects. Wintner (2017, Carmel, IN) batted 2-2 with a run score and a run batted in. Brenczewski (2017, Fishers, IN) hit 2-3 with a run batted in. 

Brandon Ko (2017, Fieldston, NY) had the lone run batted in for the Gothams. 

Taylor throws complete game

Scorpions Panhandle 2017 defeat Atlanta Blue Jays 15u 4-0. Leading the way offensively for the Scorpions was Garrett Mathes (2017, Lawton Chiles HS, FL). Mathes went 2-3 for the day with 2 singles and 2 RBI. Tommy Kinney ( 2017, Lawton Chiles HS, FL) had a good day at the plate going 2-2 with 2 doubles . Brady Smith (2017, Niceville Senior HS, FL) also had a solid day going 2-3 with a single and a double and 1 RBI. 

Getting the win for the Scorpions was Zachary Taylor (2017, Lincoln HS, FL). Taylor threw a complete game for the Scorpions giving up only 3 hits , no runs, and striking out 6. Taylor kept his FB between 73-77 mph, with a high of 78 mph. 

For the Blue Jays offensively Gavin Levy (2017, Coral Springs HS, FL)  led the team . Levy was 2-3 with 2 singles, which lead the team in hits. 

Texas Sun Devils Blast the East Cobb Pride 8-0

The Texas Sun Devils fired on all cylinders and they had dominant fielding, pitching, and hitting. The East Cobb Pride were plagued by errors, as their pitchers gave up eight runs but none of them were earned. Both starting pitchers threw well for both teams. Connor Cooke threw well for the Sun Devils. He only allowed one hit, four walks, and he struck out three. Patrick Allen (2017, Etowah, GA) pitched just as well for the East Cobb Pride, as he went four innings and struck out three. Unfortunately, he gave up six runs, but none were earned. 

The Sun Devils only managed eight hits in the ball game, but they capitalized on the defensive errors of their opponent. Logan Lejeune (2017, Port Neches-Groves, TX) led the offense for the Texas squad. He batted 2-3 with a double and two runs scored. 

Zachary Taylor no-hits Chet Lemon's Juice

Starter Zachary Taylor (2017, Lincoln, FL) of Scorpions Panhandle 2017, threw a no hitter in the Quarterfinals to send his team to the Semi's. Taylor went 5 innings, walked 3, and struck out 5. Taylor's fastball sat 76-78 and topped out at 83. The final score in one was 4-1, Scorpions over Chet Lemon's Juice.

Andrew Higdon (2017, Maclay, FL) led the way for Scorpions Panhandle at the plate by going 1 for 2 with 2 RBI's and a double.

Jimmy Miller (2018, Villages Charter, FL) of Chet Lemon's Juice went 3 shutout innings in this one, allowing no base runners as well. The losing pitcher, Zachary Coleman (2016, Deltona, FL) sat 80-81 with his fastball, and topped out at 83.

Team Elite Louisville Slugger wins 9-1

Team Elite Louisville Slugger defeats Banditos Of Austin 9-1. Leading the way offensively for Team Elite was Golston Gillespie (2017, Madison County HS,GA). Gillespie went 2-2 at the plate with a double and a triple, with 3 RBI. Bryce Bowen (2017, Elbert County HS,GA) was 2-3 with a single and a double, and 2 runs scored . Ryan Vigue (2017, Dacula HS, GA) also had a good day going 2-2 with a single, double and 1 RBI. 

Patrick Baum (2016, Kennesaw Mountain HS, GA) picked up the win for Team Elite. Baum went 4 innings for Team Elite giving up only 1 Earned Run and striking out 2. Baum lived between 74-79 mph with his FB. 

Offensively the Banditos were lead by Matthew Milliner (2017, Bowie HS, TX). Milliner went 2-2 , picking up 2 of his teams 5 hits. 

Pitchers dual sends Scorpions to Semi's

Ryan Dease (2017, Lyman, FL) threw a complete game in order to help send his team, the Scorpions Prime 2017, to the Semifinals. Dease allowed just 3 hits in this one, and struck out 6. He sat 78-79 with his fastball and topped out at 83. His opponent, Drew Yniesta (2017, Fort Dorchester, SC) of the SC Shockwave also went 5 strong innings, and was able to strike out 6 batters. He allowed 5 hits and 3 earned runs. His fastball sat at 79-80 and topped out at 82.

The final score in this one was 3-2, Scorpions over the Shockwave.

Team Elite Grey 15U Claims a 7-5 Comeback Victory

Team Elite Grey 15U started out slow, but they managed a comeback victory over Team Demarini Wisconsin. Team Elite Grey scored all of their runs in the fifth inning or later and they were able to overcome a four run deficit. Errors hurt Team Elite Grey early, but starting pitcher Steven Casey was able to keep his team in the game. Casey (2017, Hebron Christian Academy, GA) threw six innings, allowing eight hits and one walk, but he notched three strikeouts. Casey gave up five runs, but only two were earned. 

Fitz Marren, PJ Lynch, and Max Schmall led the comeback on the offensive end for Team Elite. Marren (2017, South Forsyth, GA) had a 2-run double. Lynch (2017, South Gwinnett, GA) batted 2-3 with a run scored. Schmall (2017, South Forsyth, GA) went 2-3 as well and he had a run scored and a run batted in. 

Garrett LaBreche (2017, Tremper, WI) charged the Team Demarini Wisconsin offense. LaBreche batted 2-3 with a run scored and a run batted in. 

Georgia Jackets walk too to win

A walk off RBI by Kale Ledford (2017, George Walton Academy, GA) led the Georgia Jackets 15U team to a victory and gave them a spot in the Semifinal round. After winning over the Carrollwood Gators, the Georgia Jackets improved their record to (8-0-1) for the tournament.

Jason Rooks (2017, Walton, GA) of the Jackets got things started for them in the 3rd inning by hitting an RBI single. This was part of his 1 for 2 day which included a walk. Chaney Rogers (2017, Gordon Lee, GA) turned in a solid start for the Jackets, going 4 and 1/3 strong innings. Rogers allowed 4 hits and walked 1, while striking out 7. His fastball sat at 79-81 and topped out at 85. Getting the win for the Jackets was Javier Valdes (2016, John A. Ferguson, FL). Valdes came on in relief to pitch 1 and 1/3 innings in which he would strike out 1 and allow 1 hit. His velocity was also very nice as he sat 77-83 with his fastball and topped out at 88.

Anthony Cassos (2017, Steinbrenner, FL) was the starting pitcher for Carrollwood and went 3 and 1/3 quality innings, allowing just 1 run to come across. His fastball sat at 75-76 and topped out at 81.

Pro Source wins in 5

Pro Source 15u Abbott defeat Big League Baseball Academy 9-0. Leading the way offensively for Pro Source was Nicholas Anz (2017, Jesuit College Prep HS, TX). Anz went 1-2 at the plate with a double 1 run scored, and 2 RBI. Chase Harris (2017,  Ponder HS, TX) was 1-2 with a single and 2 RBI.  

Getting the win for Pro source was Babe Walker (2017, Highland Park HS, TX). Walker threw a 5 inning complete game, allowing only 1 hit. Giving up no Earned Runs while striking out 3. Walkers FB was living between 68-72 mph. 


Scorpions Prime Claim 7-1 Victory

Scorpions Prime 2017 scored three runs in the top of the second inning, and never trailed in a 7-1 victory over Elite Squad 15U Prime on Wednesday in Fort Myers.

William Walter (2017, Spruce Creek HS, FL) led the run production for the Scorpions with two runs batted in. Graham Dvorak (2017, The First Academy, FL), Kyle Macalindong (2017, Buchholz HS, FL), and Michael Spears (2017, Orangewood Christian School, FL) added one run batted in. Greg Lewandoski (2017, Deland HS, FL) added two singles and a run scored in the victory.

Jack Leftwich (2017, Winter Park HS, FL) tossed a five inning complete game, striking out two with one run allowed. His fastball topped out at 82 mph.

The sole Elite Squad run was driven in by Jordan Schulefand (2017, Pine Crest HS, FL) and scored by Manuel Angel Rodriguez (2017, Monsignor Pace HS, FL). Schulefand and Anthony Boix (2017, Monsignor Pace HS, FL) added doubles in the losing effort.

Team Elite Prime Rolls to 11-0 Victory

Team Elite Prime scored in every inning, and claimed an 11-0 victory over Xtreme Baseball Red 15U in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Beau Hanna (2017, Winder-Barrow HS, GA) and Andrew Naismith (2016, Auburn HS, AL) each drove in two runs for Elite Prime. Pat DeMarco (2017, Poly Prep Country Day School, NY) doubled and singled, while Naismith singled twice to lead the hitting efforts. DeMarco and Nicholas Storz (2017, Poly Prep Country Day School, NY) each scored two runs in the victory.

Marlin Willis (2017, Redan HS, GA) tossed all four innings for Elite Prime, striking out three with just one hit allowed. His fastball topped out at 80 mph.

The sole Xtreme Baseball hit was a single off the bat of Avery Hall (2017, Cypress Lake HS, FL).

East Cobb Astros advance to Semi's

The East Cobb Astros 15U advanced to the Semifinal round after beating Team DeMarini of Wisconsin 15U by a final score of 2-0. This win also improved the East Cobb Astros record to a stellar (8-0). East Cobb's starting pitcher Nick Laster (2016, West Lake, GA) threw a complete game over 4 innings. Laster allowed just one hit and one walk, while striking out 2. Laster's fastball sat at 75-79 and topped out at 83.

Davis Schwartz (2016, Grady, GA) shined at the plate for East Cobb as he finished the day 2 for 2 with a double and a run scored.


Texas Sun Devils Hang on for 5-4 Win

Texas Sun Devils rallied from a 4-0 deficit, and held on in the final two innings for a 5-4 victory over Miami Suns 15U in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Peyton Johnson (2017, Sam Houston HS, LA) and Slate Fuller (2017, Alfred M. Barbe HS, LA) each drove in two runs to lead the Sun Devils at the plate. Chase Kemp (2017, Nederland HS, TX), Alex Goree (2017, Alfred M. Barbe HS, LA), and Logan Lejeune (Port Neches-Groves HS, TX) added one hit each, with doubles coming from Kemp, Johnson, and Lejeune.

Andrew Sheridan (2017, Sulphur HS, LA) earned the victory with a complete game. His fastball topped out at 85 mph with three strikeouts.

One run each was driven in by Jordan Topps (2016, Columbus HS, FL), Raymond Gil (2017, Gulliver Schools, FL), Tyler Grant (2018, Gulliver Schools, FL), and Handy Rodriguez (2015, Ferguson HS, FL). Gil and Henry Anthony Vilar (2018, Slam Charter HS, FL) had two hits each in the losing effort.

Chet Lemon's Juice prevents the rally

Despite a late run by Xtreme Baseball Navy 15U, Chet Lemon's Juice was able to pull out the victory by a final score of 3-2. This victory will send Chet Lemon's Juice to the Quarterfinals.  Frank Niemann (2017, Lake Mary, FL) had the hot bat in this one as he finished the day 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's and a double to help lead his team to victory.

Jimmy Nealy (2016, Deland, FL) also had a solid game for Chet Lemon's Juice as he turned in a 2 for 3 performance which also included a double.  On the mound, Zachary Coleman (2016, Deltona, FL) got the job done for Chet. He pitched 4 innings, allowing 4 hits, and 2 earned runs. Coleman was able to strike out 1 batter, and his fastball velocity sat at 78-80/82.

Tyler Shuck (2017, Canterbury, FL) led the way on offense for Xtreme Baseball, going 1 for 2 with an RBI double in this one. Xtreme's pitcher, Andrew Jones (2016, Sarasota, FL) threw a complete game and his fastball velocity sat at 77-79/83.

Carrollwood Gators Score Three in 6th to Win

Carrollwood Gators 2017 scored three runs in the top of the sixth and final inning, claiming a 5-2 victory over Indiana Prospects on Wednesday at Terry Park.

Kevin Velez (2016, Brooks Debartolo Collegiate HS, FL) and Alex Mocny (2017, Jesuit HS, FL) each drove in one run for the Gators, and Velez led the team with two hits. The other two hits were provided by Kenny Rodriguez (2017, Gaither HS, FL) and Bernard Sanchez (2016, Leto HS, FL). Sanchez scored two runs and added a double in the win.

CJ Van Eyk (2017, Steinbrenner HS, FL) earned the win for the Gators, as he tossed 1.1 perfect innings with a strikeout. His fastball topped out at 83 mph.

The two Indiana runs were driven in by Rhett Wintner (2017, Carmel HS, IN) and Corbin Maddox (2017, Daleville HS, IN), and were scored by Corbin Cox (2017, Pendleton Heights HS, IN) and Garrett Welch (2017, New Castle Chrysler HS, IN). Caleb Brenczewski (2017, Fishers HS, IN) led the team with two hits, including a double.

SC Shockwave improve to 6-1, advance

The SC Shockwave advanced to the Quarterfinal round of this tournament with a crucial 5-1 victory over Team Elite Prime. Pitcher Wade Lofton (2018, Cheraw, SC), threw a complete game in this one to get the win for his team. Lofton pitched 5 innings and struck out 3. He allowed no earned runs, and just 3 hits.

Brendan Case (2018, Summerville, AL), William Fleming (2018, Christ, NC), and Robert Satcher (2017, Ben Lippen, SC) led the way offensively for the Shockwave as they each drove in a run.

Beau Hanna (2017, Winder-Barrow, GA) drove in the lone run for Team Elite, and pitcher Nicholas Storz (2017, Poly Prep Country Day, NY) showed an explosive fastball that sat at 86-88 and topped out at 89.

Chain Black Scores Final Nine Runs in Win

Chain Black trailed 2-0 after one inning, but rallied to score the final nine runs of the game to claim a 9-2 victory over IBAHS Knights 15U in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Salik Williams (2017, Jenkins HS, GA) and D.L. Hall (2017, Valdosta HS, GA) each drove in two runs to lead the Chain Black offense. Austin Hittinger (2017, Houston County HS, GA) added three hits in the victory, all singles. Williams and Cole Brannen (2017, The Westfield Schools, GA) also added two hits, while Hittinger and Hall led the way with two runs scored.

Tony Locey (2016, Hardaway HS, GA) tossed a complete game over five innings for Chain Black. He allowed one earned run with nine strikeouts, and his fastball topped out at 91 mph.

Christoper Rabell (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR) drove in a run for the Knights, while Julio Canales (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR) and Delvin Perez (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR) each scored a run. The team’s three hits were provided by Canales, Perez, and Alan Marrero (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR).

Carrollwood advances to Quarterfinals

The Carrollwood Gators 2017 team defeated the Arena Starz 15U team by a final score of 8-5. This would improve Carrollwood's record to (6-2) for the tournament and help them advance to the Quarterfinal round.

Ryan Glass (2017, Steinbrenner, FL) and CJ Van Eyk (2017, Steinbrenner, FL) did their best to advance the Gators as they both finished the day with 2 RBI's. Anthony Cassos (2017, Steinbrenner, FL) and Jake Jones (2017, Jesuit, FL) both had multi-hit games for the Gators in this one. Jones also added an RBI.

Van Eyk was the winning pitcher for the Gators, throwing 3 and 1/3 innings and striking out 4. He would allow 4 earned runs, 7 hits, and 1 walk. His fastball velocity was nice, sitting at 81-83 and topping out at 84.

Patrick Lightner (2016, Landon, MD) was the star of the show for the Arena Starz, going 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk.

Late Surge Leads Georgia Jackets

Georgia Jackets 15U scored the final eight runs of the game, and rallied to claim a 8-2 victory over Baseball Scoutz at Terry Park in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Jason Rooks (2017, Walton HS, GA) tripled and drove in three runs for the Jackets to lead the run production. Xtreme Baseball Navy 15U scored eleven runs in the bottom of the third, turning a 1-0 game into a 12-0 victory over CBA Copperheads Elite in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Giovany Lorenzo (2017, Cypress Lake HS, FL) and Tyler Lala (2016, Tampa Catholic HS, FL) drove in two runs each to lead the run production for Xtreme. Lala also added two hits, while Jordan Lala (2018, Tampa Catholic HS, FL) and Trey Pearce (2016, Gulf Coast HS, FL) each scored two runs. Pearce tripled, as well, and Tyler Shuck (2017, Canterbury School, FL) added a double.

Shuck tossed a complete game over four innings, and struck out four hitters. His fastball topped out at 84 mph.

The two Copperheads hits were both singles, and were drilled by Noah Wilkes (2016, Central HS, AL) and Cody Russell (2017, Calvary Christian School, GA).

Scorpions Panhandle 2017 scored a run in all four of the game’s innings, and claimed a 10-1 victory over SWFL Grey 15U in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Garrett Mathes (2017, Lawton Chiles HS, FL) was the offensive juggernaut for the Scorpions, driving in four hits with two hits and a run scored. Connor Burk (2017, Lincoln HS, FL), Brady Smith (2017, Niceville HS, FL), and Tommy Kinney (2017, Lawton Chiles HS, FL) all added one run batted in. Jonathon Drose (2017, North Florida Christian School, FL) also added two hits, while Burk, Drose, and Jesse Hall (2017, Lincoln HS, FL) all scored two runs in the victory.

Harrison Francis (2017, Lawton Chiles HS, FL) tossed a complete game, as he did not allow an earned run with four strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 83 mph.

The lone SWFL run was scored by Bobby Stewart, who also had one of the team’s two hits. Trey Heiser (2017, Naples HS, FL) also added a double in the losing effort.

Team DeMarini of Wisconsin scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh, and walked off on a sacrifice fly by Kyle Scoville (2017, Bradford HS, WI) to claim a 9-8 victory over Chain Gold in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Garrett LaBreche (2017, Tremper HS, WI), Andrew Freiberg (2017, Tremper HS, WI), and Mitchell Buban (2017, Tremper HS, WI) each drove in two runs to lead the production for Wisconsin. Freiberg and Buban also led the team with two hits, while Noah Cresco (2016, Indian Trail Academy, WI) and Hunter Weddel (2017, Tremper HS, WI) scored a team-high two runs.

In addition to his walk off sac fly, Scoville earned the win by pitching the final 1.1 innings. He struck out two, and his fastball topped out at 70 mph.

Brett Usry (2016, Schley County HS, GA) tossed a no-hitter over five innings, and East Cobb Astros needed just a single run to advance with a 1-0 victory over No Fear in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Usry struck out six hitters and walked three in his five innings. His fastball topped out at 81 mph.

The lone Astros run was scored by Griffin Burke (2016, Barnstable HS, MA). The team’s four hits, all singles, were recorded by Burke, Usry, Wesley Brooks (2016, North Gwinnett HS, GA), and Kalen Puckett (2017, Upson-Lee HS, GA).

Elite Squad 15U Prime scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning, and that proved to be the only runs of the game in a 4-0 victory over Riverside Riot Baseball Club on Wednesday at City of Palms Park.

David Vazquez (2017, Flanagan HS, FL) and Adan Fernandez (2017, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL) each drove in one run in that first inning. Fernandez also scored a run, as did Jordan Schulefand (2017, Pine Crest HS, FL), Joseph Perez (2017, American Heritage HS, FL), and Daniel Federman (2017, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL). Federman added a double and a single to lead the hitting for Elite Squad.

Steven Santos (2016, Belen Jesuit Prep HS, FL) tossed a complete game over five innings, allowing six hits with two strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 75 mph.

Walk off leads to Quarterfinals for EC Astros

The East Cobb Astros 15U team defeated the Team Elite Louisville Slugger squad by a final score of 6-5 in walk off fashion. This win will send the East Cobb Astros 15U team to the Quarterfinals round where they will fact the winner of game #367.

Wesley Brooks (2016, North Gwinnett, GA) of the East Cobb Astros was the hero in this one, as his late game RBI single drove in the game winning run. Brooks would finish the game going 1 for 2 with a walk, but his lone hit would prove to be very important. His teammate Griffin Burke (2016, Barnstable, MA) showed impressive patience at the plate by drawing 3 walks in this contest.

Emory Otott (2016, North Paulding, GA) and Davis Schwartz (2016, Grady, GA) were solid on the mound for the Astros as they didn't allow a run to score in their combined 4 and 1/3 innings of work. Schwartz sat 78-81 with his fastball and topped out at 82.

Golston Gillespie (2017, Madison County, GA) turned in a strong performance from the plate for Team Elite as he finished the game with a 2 for 3 line that included an RBI. Team Elite pitcher Aubrey Davis (2017, Franklin County, GA) sat 76-79 with his fastball and topped out at 82. He threw 2 and 1/3 innings in which he struck out 4 while allowing 0 earned runs, 1 hit, and 3 walks.

One run proved to be the difference as MPi 15U defeated Chain Black 1-0.

Danny Perez (2018, Westminster Christian HS, FL) led the way, going 1-2 with a double and one run scored.  Sam Fernandez (2017, Westminster Christian HS, FL) also went 1-2 with a double of his own, and one RBI in the game.

Perez also pitched a complete game, going three innings and gave up just three hits, while striking out three.  He had a fastball that topped out at 76 mph and mixed in a handful of curveballs and changeups as his off-speed pitches.

For Chain Black, Salik Williams (2017, Jenkins HS, GA) pitched a complete game also, going four innings and giving up one earned run on four hits, while striking out four.  He had a fastball that topped out at 81 mph.  Williams also led the spark for the offense, going 2-2 with two singles and one stolen base.


Scorpions Panhandle 2017 Roll to 12-5 Win

Scorpions Panhandle scored four runs in the top of the first inning, and never looked back in a 12-5 victory over Florida Burn 2017 Pennant on Wednesday.

Austin Pollock (2017, Lincoln HS, FL) led the run production for the Scorpions, driving in four runs. Keith Lyle (2017, Bainbridge HS, GA) added three runs batted in, and Garrett Mathes (2017, Lawton Chiles HS, FL), Brady Smith (2017, Niceville HS, FL), and Jonathon Drose (2017, North Florida Christian School, FL) each drove in one. Smith led the team with two hits, both singles, and he also scored a game-high three runs in the win.

Mathes hurled a complete game, striking out two hitters over four innings. His fastball topped out at 85 mph.

Brady McConnell (2017, St. Andrew’s School, FL), Graham Hoffman (2017, Calvary Christian School, FL), Jordan Butler (2017, Tampa Catholic HS, FL), and Kyle Bachle (2017, Venice HS, FL) each drove in one run for the Burn. McConnell and Hoffman each had two hits as well in the loss.

Scorpions Prime 2017 scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning to break a 1-1 and claim a 3-1 victory over Texas Sun Devils at City of Palms Park on Wednesday.

Logan Nugent (2017, Trinity Christian Academy, FL) led the run production for the Scorpions by driving in one run. The three runs were scored by Michael Spears (2017, Orangewood Christian School, FL), Robert Bell (2017, Father Lopez HS, FL), and Andrew Kaminsky (2017, The Masters Academy, FL). Of the Scorpions’ six hits, only one was an extra-base hit, a double from Spears.

William Saxton (2017, Lake Highland Preparatory School, FL) earned the victory for the Scorpions, as he tossed 1.2 hitless, scoreless innings. His fastball topped out at 81 mph with one strikeout.

The lone run for the Sun Devils was driven in by Slate Fuller (2017, Alfred M. Barbe HS, LA) and scored by Peyton Johnson (2017, Sam Houston HS, LA). The team’s three hits, all singles, were recorded by Fuller, Johnson, and Alex Goree (2017, Alfred M. Barbe HS, LA).

Weston Bizzle Tosses No-Hitter

Weston Bizzle (2017, A. Crawford Mosley HS, FL) tossed a five-inning no hitter for Georgia Jackets 15U, and propelled his team into the quarterfinals with a 6-0 victory over Chain Black on Wednesday at Terry Park.

Bizzle was nearly untouchable in his five innings, striking out 13 hitters and walking just one. Only two balls were put into play by Chain Black. He displayed a good curveball and the ability to be effectively wild on the mound, while his fastball topped out at 89 mph.

Kale Ledford (2017, George Walton Academy, GA) drove in two runs for the Jackets to lead the run production. Will Lumpkin (2016, Handley HS, AL) and Cameron Turley (2017, Mill Creek HS, GA) added one RBI apiece. Lawson Hill (2017, Kings Ridge Christian School, GA) and Chaney Rogers (2017, Gordon Lee HS, GA) scored two runs each, and the team’s three hits came from Javier Valdes (2016, Ferguson HS, FL), Lumpkin, and Ledford.

Andrew Freiberg (2017, Tremper HS, WI) and Noah Cresco (2016, Indian Trail Academy, WI) drove in one run each for Wisconsin. The runs were scored by Zak Valdez (2017, Tremper HS, WI), Garrett LaBreche (2017, Tremper HS, WI), and Brennan Ferguson (2017, Zion-Benton Township HS, IL). The team’s three hits, all singles, came off the bat of Freiberg, Ferguson, and Hunter Weddel (2017, Tremper HS, WI).

Copperheads fend off Raiders to win 3-2

The CBA Copperheads Elite only received 4 hits in Tuesday's game, but they were able to make them count and won over the HCYP Raiders 3-2 in the contest. Jarrett Carter (2017, Columbus HS, GA) led CBA's offensive attack on the day, going 2-2 with a run scored, a double, and 2 RBI. Seth Shadix (2017, Northside HS, GA) and Matthew Becker (2016, Harris County HS, GA) both scored a run, as well for the winners.

The HCYP Raiders gathered 9 hits on the day, but were only able to push across 2 runs. Gunnar Barnard (2017, Marriotts Ridge HS, MD) led the offense, going 3-3 in the loss. Brad Haas (2016, South Carroll Senior HS, MD) and Jake Dinoto (2017, Marriotts Ridge HS, MD) each recorded 2 hits in the contest, as well. Kevin Murray Jr. (2016, Howard HS, MD) and Reed Galloway (2017, Marriotts Ridge HS, MD) both drove in a run for the Raiders.

Xtreme Baseball Navy 15U edged So Cal NTT 15U on Tuesday, 3-2. Tyler Lala (2017, Tampa Catholic HS, FL) provided the power for Xtreme Baseball in the game, slugging a solo home run. Lala finished 2-2 with a 2 runs scored in the game. Lead-off hitter Giovany Lorenzo (2017, Cypress Lake HS, FL) collected the other RBI for Xtreme Baseball and finished 1-1. Trey Pearce also scored a run for the winners.

Nash Stegemann (2017, Estero HS, FL) started the game on the mound for Xtreme and pitched 4 solid innings to earn the win. Stegemann allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 5 batters. He showed great command of his pitches, throwing 73% for strikes. 

Jonah Beamon (2018, Covenant Day HS, NC) led So Cal's offense on the day, going 2-3 with a run scored. Cody Underkoffler (2016, Mammoth HS, CA) and Tyler McManus (2017, Slidell HS, LA) each drove in 1 run in the game, as well.

The Scorpions Panhandle 2017 beat the Gotham Giants 15U behind Evan Johnson's (2017, Suwannee HS, FL) one-hitter. Johnson started the game and threw a complete game, limiting the Giants to 0 runs on 1 hit, while striking out 1. His fastball averaged a velocity of 73-75 mph and topped out at 76 mph.

Brady Smith (2017, Niceville Senior HS, FL) provided the big hit of the game for the Scorpions, smashing an RBI-double and finishing 1-1 in the game. Pandhandle's other RBI was collected by Garrett Mathes (2017, Lawton Chiles HS, FL) courtesy of a sacrifice fly. Jesse Hall (2017, Lincoln HS, FL) and Tommy Kinney (2017, Lawton Chiles HS, FL) both were 1-2 with a run scored.

SWFL Grey 15U scored 2 runs in the top of the first-inning and that would be all they needed to move past the Dallas Tigers - Woods in a narrow 2-1 win. Trey Heiser (2017, Naples HS, FL) and Tanner Ison (2017, Gulf Coast HS, FL) both had RBI-singles to lead SWFL's offense. Heiser and Gus Cunningham (2016, Canterbury HS, FL) each scored once to give SWFL the lead. 

Bobby Stewart (2016, Naples HS, FL) started the game for SWFL on the mound and threw a complete game to earn the win. Stewart allowed 1 run on 6 hits and struck out 2 in the game. His fastball reached as high as 80 mph over his start. 

John Kodros (2017, Coppell HS, TX) drove in Lance Russell (2017, Flower Mound HS, TX) for the Dallas Tigers to account for their only run of the game.

Elite Squad 15U Slugger edged Palm Beach Select on Tuesday by a final scored of 5-3. Jonathan Miller (2017, Cooper City HS, FL) provided the biggest hit of the game in the bottom of the fourth-inning, tripling in 3 runs and giving Elite Squad a 5-3 lead. Miller finished 1-2 and also scored a run. Lead-off hitter Arrison Perez (2017, West Broward HS, FL) and Justin Connell (2017, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL) drove in the other 2 runs of the game for Elite Squad. Alek Sierra (2017, Archbishop Edward Mccarthy HS, FL) and Michael Thompson (2017, Archbishop Edward Mccarthy HS, FL) were both 1-1 with a run scored. 

Sierra also started the game on the mound and pitched 3.1 innings to earn the win. He allowed 3 unearned runs on 4 hits and struck out 5.

Jordan Butler (2017, Tampa Catholic HS, FL) provided the biggest hit of the game with a 2-run double in the first-inning for Florida. Brady McConnell (2017, St. Andrew's HS, FL) and Graham Hoffman (2017, Calvary Christian HS, FL) both scored on Butler's double. 

Lyon Richardson (2018, Jensen Beach HS, FL) started the game on the mound for Florida Burn and pitched 4.1 innings to earn the win. Richardson allowed 0 runs on 3 hits and struck out 3 in his outing. His fastball averaged a velocity of 81-84 mph and topped out at 85 mph. Douglas Nikhazy (2018, West Orange HS, FL) pitched the final .2 innings to earn the save and struck out both batters he faced. Nikhazy's fastball reached a maximum velocity of 84 mph in the game.

Sam Stepp (2017, Dalton HS, GA) started the game for East Cobb and pitched a solid game, despite getting the loss. Stepp threw all 4 innings of the game and allowed 2 runs on 2 hits, while striking out 5.

Griffin Jester (2017, Honea Path, SC) led the surge for the Shockwave by going 2-3 with a single and a double while plating two RBIs and a run. Brendan Case (2018, Birmingham, AL) joined in with a pair of hits that score a RBI and two runs. Aidan Massey (2017, Blythewood, SC) contributed two singles and later scored, and Robert Satcher (2017, Columbia, SC) helped with a RBI single and a run for his team. Drew Yniesta (2017, Summerville, SC) and Charlton Commander (2018, Sumter, SC) joined in with a hit and later scored.

Jester took the mound for his team. He scattered five hits and let two runs score on him. He walked one batter and struck out four on his 79 mph fastball. He has good command while throwing pitches around the plate. The has a solid and long arm action. He effectively changes speeds while competing on the mound constantly.

Next Level 15U scored 2 runs in the top of the sixth-inning on Tuesday to break a 1-1 tie with PBC PAL 15U and win 3-1. Lead-off hitter Gunner Smith (2016, A. Crawford Mosley HS, FL) and Juan Augusto (2017, Dean Bozeman HS, FL) both went 2-3 for Next Level to lead the team offensively. Smith hit a double and Augusto drove in a run in the game. Tyler Dunbar (2017, Lawton Chiles HS, FL) and Bryson Horne (2017, Blountstown HS, FL) drove in the other runs of the game for Next Level. Dunbar collected his RBI courtesy of a double. Bucky McGlamry (2016, Wakulla HS, FL) and Zane Stephens (2017, Suwannee HS, FL) joined Dunbar and Smith in hitting doubles in the game.

Augusto also started the game on the mound and pitched a complete game to earn the win. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 7 batters in the game. Over his 5.2 innings of work, Augusto's fastball averaged a velocity of 81-84 mph and reached as high as 86 mph.

Pierson Reynolds (2017, Palm Beach Central HS, FL) led PBC's offense on the day, going 3-2 with a run scored. Aldrich De Jongh (2016, Trinity Christian Academy, FL) collected his team's only RBI of the day.

James Moses (2017, Abingdon, MD) took the mound for the Starz by going all five innings. He just let a pair of hits fall and no runs to score. He did not walk a batter and struck out one. He maxed out the gun to 76 mph. 

Jeremy Arocho (2017, Glen Burnie, MD) led the Starz with a pair of singles and later scoring. Ethan Gallagher (2017, Cantonsville, MD), Elan Goodwin (2016, Bristow, VA), and Ian Elliott (2016, Bel Air, MD) each connected with a single, and Goodwin also plated for one run. 

Andrew Bell and Jarred Tummins (2016, Casselberry, FL) were the only players to tack on a hit for the Bad Boys.

Altoon Coleman (2017, Sanford, FL) took the mound and went two innings. He let just two hits fall without an earned run to score. He walked one batter and struck out four on his 90 mph fastball. He has a solid arm action along with a mound presence that couldn't be overlooked. He has arm side run on his fastball and flashes projectable stuff. The Florida Burn 2017 Pennant defeated the Elite Squad 15U Slugger 4-1 in five innings.

Graham Hoffman (2017, Clearwater, FL) and Jordan Butler (2017, Tampa, FL) led the Burn by each connecting with a two RBI double for their team, and Hoffman also touched home once. Collin Moore (2017, Bradenton, FL) joined in with a double of his own, and Brady McConnell (2017, Lake Worth, FL) and Douglas Nikhazy (2018, Ocoee, FL) roped a single and scored at least once. 

Butler took the mound by going the complete game. He let four hits fall with just one run to score. He walked one batter and struck out six. He ran the gun up to 87 mph with his fastball.

Team Elite Louisville Slugger scored 1 run in the bottom of the fourth-inning on Tuesday to break a 1-1 tie with the Florida Pokers Underclass Carolina and win 2-1. Jake Lundkovsky (2017, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA) and Cole Tate (2017, Oconee County HS, GA) scored 1 run each, and John Samuel Shenker (2017, Deerfield-Windsor HS, GA) collected the game's only RBI to lead Team Elite at the plate. Tate and Patrick Baum (2016, Kennesaw Mountain HS, GA) both finished 1-1 in the game.

Bryce Bowen (2017, Elbert County HS, GA) started the game on the mound for Team Elite and threw 3 solid innings in the game. Bowen allowed 1 run on 2 hits and struck out 7 batters. He showed off his strong arm in the game, averaging a fastball velocity of 76-81 mph and reaching as high as 83 mph.

No Fear defeated Top Notch Baseball on Tuesday afternoon 2-1 behind Reid Norberg's (2017, Scripps Ranch HS, CA) strong pitching performance. Norberg threw a complete game and allowed 1 unearned run on 3 hits to earn the win. Over the course of his outing, Norberg threw 75% of his pitches for strikes and struck out 5 batters. His fastball reached a maximum velocity of 76 mph, as well.

Jordan Stern (2017, Scripps Ranch HS, CA) had the biggest hit of the game for No Fear, singling in Dillion Lange (2016, Great Oak HS, CA) and Ryan Dempsey (2017, Mckinney HS, TX) to give his team a 2-0 lead. Stern, Lange, and Dempsey all finished 1-2 for the winners.

Jonathan Ford (2017, Pickens HS, SC) scored Top Notch Baseball's only run of the game after slugging a double in the third-inning of the game.

East Cobb's offensive outburst leads to 11-0 win

The East Cobb Astros 15U scored 11 runs in 2 innings to lead them over the NY Gothams, 11-0. Lead-off hitter Chareef Allen (2016, Hillgrove HS, GA), Wesley Brooks (2016, North Gwinnett HS, GA), and Colin Hall (2017, Wesleyan HS, GA) drove in 2 runs each for East Cobb. Hill finished 1-2 with a triple and a run scored. Brooks joined Hill in scoring a run, as well. James Kirlin III (2016, North Cobb HS, GA), Davis Schwartz (2016, Grady HS, GA), and Ethan Cady (2016, McCallie School, TN) all scored twice for the winners. 

Bryan Grant (2017, Kell HS, GA) started the game on the mound for East Cobb and threw a complete game shut-out to earn the win. Grant allowed 0 hits in his start and struck out 2 batters, as well. 

Mills pitches Chain Gold to 1-0 win

Chain Gold's starting pitcher Alex Mills (2017, Mt. De Sales Academy, GA) prevailed in a pitcher's duel with Florida Legends 15U's Ryan Margolis (2016, Miami Southridge HS, FL) to lead his team to a 1-0 victory on Tuesday. Mills threw a complete game shutout and allowed only 1 hit to earn the victory. Over the course of his outing, Mills struck out 5 batters. 

Margolis also pitched brilliantly, despite getting the loss. He threw a complete game 2-hitter and struck out 4 over the course of his outing. His command was good in the game as he threw 70% of his 60 pitches for strikes.

Caleb Rogers (2017, Lowndes HS, GA) collected the only RBI of the game, driving in Ryan Thompson (2017, Perry HS, GA) in the top of the sixth-inning to give Chain Gold the win.

Freddie Zamora (2017, Miami Killian Senior HS, FL) led the Florida Legend's offense with a double in 3 at-bats.

Chet Lemon's Juice got a great pitching performance in their 5-0 win over Jacksonville Warriors 15U Black. They scored two times in the third inning and three more times in the fourth.

Winning pitcher Jackson Dean () threw five innings, giving up just two hits and one walk. He struck out three batters and he threw about 66% of his pitches for strikes. Frank Niemann (2017, Lake Mary, FL) went 2 for 2 with two runs batted in. Jimmy Nealy (2016, Deland, FL) singled twice and scored a run.

For the Warriors, Tristin Adams (2017, Mandarin, FL) slapped a single in the loss. Montford went 1 for 2 with a double.

Connor Tate (2017, Oconee County, GA) hit two singled and scored a run for Team Elite. Bryce Bowen (2017, Elbert County, GA) singled and scored two runs. Aubrey Davis (2017, Franklin County, GA) singled and added two RBIs at the dish.

Winning pitcher John Samuel Shenker (2017, Deerfield-Windsor, GA) threw five innings, giving up three runs--two earned--on five hits and four walks. He struck out six batters on a fastball that sat 76-86 mph and touched 89 mph. 

Zane Stephens (2017, Suwannee, FL) went a perfect 2 for 2 at the plate for Next Level. Bucky McGlamry (2016, Wakulla, FL) and Juan Augusto (2017, Deane Bozeman, FL) both singled and added an RBI.

Dallas Tigers - Elliot beat the Bigstix Gamers 8-4. Dallas put up four runs in the first inning, but the Gamers came back and tied it up. Dallas used a sacrifice fly and a dropped ball to go on to win by the score of 8-4.

Cody Masters (2017, Coppell, TX) went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs scored, two runs batted in. Connor Mushinski (2017, Argyle, TX) hit a two-run double and added a sac fly for Dallas. Chase Hacker (2017, Farmersville, TX) singled, doubled, and scored two runs. 

Winning pitcher Connor Mushinski gave up four runs over his five innings on the mound. He gave up six hits and walked none. He threw almost 69% of his pitches for strikes. His fastball ranged from 77-80 mph.

For the Gamers, Keith Wilson (2016, East Coweta, GA) smacked a huge three-run homer in the third inning to tie the score up 4-4. Brooks Veal (2017, Jones County, GA) went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Jacob Garner (2016, Union Grove, GA) singled twice and added an RBI.

The Indiana Prospects got a few guys to cross the plate and the rest was shutdown pitching against the IBAHS Knights Prime in their 2-0 victory.

Corbin Cox (2017, Pendleton Heights, IN) only surrendered one hit over five shutout innings and picked up the win. He walked one and struck out four batters. He showed very good command and his fastball ranged from 74-79 mph. 

John Cheatwood (2016, Centerville, IN) hit a sac fly to put the Prospects up 2-0. Rhett Wintner (2017, Carmel, IN) singled and scored a run. Corbin Cox went 1 for 2 with a double.

Jerryson Villaran gave up two unearned runs over four innings on the mound. He walked one batter and threw almost 73% of his pitches for strikes. Anthony Tirado (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR) ripped a double in the fifth.

The Arena Starz 15U team got off to a hot start and went on to win 4-3 over the Georgia Jackets 15U National team.

Jeremy Arocho (2017, Old Mill, MD) smacked a three-run triple in the very first inning to put the Starz up 3-0. They then got a sac fly to go up 4-0. Raphael Baumgardner (2017, The Bullis, MD) singled, doubled, and scored a run for the Starz. Ian Elliot (2016, Calvert Hall College, MD) singled and scored a run.

Winning pitcher Raphael Baumgardner threw 2.1 innings, giving up three runs--one earned--on six hits and one walk. His fasball sat 79-81 mph and topped out at 82 mph. James Moses (2017, Loyola-Blakefield, MD) pitched 2.2 scoreless innings and picked up the save.

For the Georgia Jackets, Dawson Pfost (2017, Sequoyah, GA) singled twice and added an RBI. Adam Richards (2017, Lambert, GA) doubled and scored a run. Patrick McNamara (2017, Blessed Trinity Cath, GA) singled and scored a run.

Terrell throws gem as Scorpions advance

The Scorpions Prime 2017 defeated the Teel Ravens 5-0 to advance in the second round of the playoffs.  Dalton Terrell (2017, Trinity Christian Academy HS, FL) threw 5 shutout innings allowing just 3 hits and 4 walks, while recording 4 strikeouts.  Terrell showed impressive velocity on his fastball which ranged from 79-84/86 mph on the day.  

Scorpions' leadoff hitter, Michael Spears (2017, Orangewood Christian HS, FL), went 3-3 with 1 double, 3 runs scored, 1 RBI and 3 stolen bases on the day.  Logan Nugent (2017, Trinity Christian Academy HS, FL) also showed well by going 3-3 with 1 double and 3 RBI.

For the Ravens, Ryan Zambardi (2017, Waldwick HS, NJ) went 1-2 with 1 single.

Tyler Courtney (2017, Starrs Mill, GA) went 2 for 2 with a double and an RBI. Brooks Veal (2017, Jones County, GA) pitched in with two singles and an RBI. 

Charlie Andress (2017, Boothwyn, PA) led the Dugout with two singles. Riley Oday (2016, Bishop Shananan, PA) started and lasted three innings.  He struck out three and allowed a walk. His fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 82 mph. 


Babineau helps Xtreme swing past Angels

The Xtreme Baseball Red 15u defeated the Columbia Angels 6-5 to advance past the second round of the playoffs.  Shawn Babineau (2016, Estero HS, FL) lead the way offensively going 1-3 with 2 RBI.  Leadoff man, Renyolds Sheltra (2017, Treasure Coast HS, FL), stayed inside the ball well and showed good bat speed going 1-2 with 2 runs scored, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.

Pitching for Xtreme Baseball was Andrew Arsenault (2017, Mariner HS, FL) who tossed 5 innings allowing 2 earned runs in the start featuring a 69-73/74 mph fastball.  Aresenault also did well at the plate by going 1-2 with 1 RBI.  

For the Angels, Dominic Cox (2017, William B Travis HS, TX) made hard contact and hit to all fields going 3-3 with 1 triple, 3 runs scored and 1 RBI.  Joe Gobillot (2017, St Johns HS, TX) who showed an aggressive approach going 2-3 with 1 double and 2 RBI at the plate.

Masters also went 2 for 3.  Will Guzman (2017, Jesuit College Prep, TX) pitched in with two singles.  Connor Mushinski (2017, Argyle, TX) helped out with two singles and an RBI.

North Georgia Hurricanes rallied to come from behind to beat Northern Valley Ravens 15U 4-2. Michael Gelb (2017, Buford, GA) led the offense with a single that drove in two runs.  Mark Flores (2017, Collins Hill, GA) went 1 for 3 with a double. Nick Topoleski (2017, Collins Hill, GA) pitched five innings. He struck out seven while allowing three hits. 

Nick Cantone (2017, St. Joseph Regional, NJ) threw four innings for the Ravens.  He struck out six while allowing four hits. His heater was in the low 80's and touched 84 mph.

Matula pitched in with two singles and an RBI.

The CFBL 2017 Elite defeated the Austin Banditos 4-1 to advance out of the second round of the playoffs.  Jon Quayle (2018, Lake Brantley HS, FL) tossed a strong 4 shutout innings allowing just 4 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 4.  While on the mound, Quayle primarily used a 73-77/79 mph fastball while on the mound.  

Offensively for the Elite, Jared Battista (2017, Lake Mary HS, FL) went 2-2 with 3 RBI and Jake Molle (2017, University HS, FL) went 2-3 with a pair of singles.

Armando Morales (2017, International Baseball Academy, PR) pitched in with a single that drove in a run.

The Miami Suns 15u defeated the Chain Dirtdawgs 4-2 to advance past the second round of playoffs.  Kevin Mauras (2018, Miami Coral Park HS, PR) lead the way for the Suns offense going 1-2 with 1 double, 1 run scored, 2 RBI and 1 stolen base.  Handy Rodriguez (2015, John A Ferguson HS, FL) showed power potential and good bat speed going 2-2 with 1 run scored and 1 stolen base.   

The starter for the Suns was Roger Garcia (2016, Archbishop Edward Mccarthy HS, FL) who tossed 5 innings allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 5.  Garcia showed good command and a smooth delivery on his 77-82/83 mph fastball with armside run and also featured a 58-64/65 mph curveball.

For the Dirtdawgs, Josh Hatcher (2017, Lee County HS, GA) showed a quick bat and a line drive swinging plane going 2-2 with 1 double, 1 run scored and 1 RBI.  Zach Mainor (2016, Wayne Couonty HS, GA) added in a 1-3 with 1 triple day at the plate.  Zachary Haines (2016, Richmond Hill HS, GA) stayed inside the ball well and showed good bat speed going 1-2 with 1 double and 1 RBI.

The Bad Boys defeated the All American Prospects 9-1 in the second round of the playoffs.  Bad Boys' starter, Joshua Bates (2017, Bishop Moore HS, FL) allowed just 1 unearned run on 1 hit and 5 walks, while striking out 4.  While on the mound, Bates used a 72-77/79 mph fastball while on the mound, also mixing in several 63-68 mph curveballs.

The Baseball Scoutz defeated the All Star Baseball Academy 6-5 thanks to scoring the go ahead run in the top of the 6th inning.  Garrett Marchamn (2017, Greenbrier HS, GA) went 2-2 with 1 double, 2 RBI and 1 walk to lead the Scoutz offense.  Leadoff man, Bryce Harnage (2017, New Southeast Bulloch HS, GA), also showed well going 1-2 with 1 double, 1 run scored and 1 RBI.  Michaels Walters (2017, Brunswick HS, GA) added in a 2-3 with 1 double and 1 run scored day at the plate.  

The starting and winning pitcher for the Scoutz was Jordan Jackson (2017, Luella HS, GA) who went 5 innings allowing 3 earned runs and struck out 2 in the outing.  Jackson threw a 72-75/76 mph fastball while mixing in a 60-63 mph curveball.

The Jacksonville Warriors 15u Black defeated the Pro Source 15u Abbott 4-2 in the second round of the playoffs.  Joey Fletcher (2017, Mandarin HS, FL) started and won the game going 5 2/3 innings allowing 1 run on 4 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 4.  Fletcher showed outstanding arm speed on the mound with his 74-77/78 mph fastball.  Fletcher also had a good day at the plate going 1-2 with 1 RBI.  

For the Source, Mason Holt (2017, Coppell HS, TX) went 1-2 with 1 RBI and Jalen Hurt (2017, Liberty Christian HS, TX) scored 1 run and stolen 2 bases.

The Elite Prime defeated the North Georgia Hurricanes 12-0 to advance past the second round of the playoffs.  Tyler Keenan (2017, Cleveland HS Clayton, NC) lead the way for their offense going 1-1 with 1 triple, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI.  Leadoff man, Nicholas Storz (2017, Poly Prep Country Day HS, NY), had a strong day at the plate as well going 2-2 with 1 double, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.  Andrew Naismith (2016, Auburn HS, AL AL) also showed well going 2-2 with 1 double, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI.  

Pitching for the Prime was Oscar Serratos (2017, Grayson HS, GA) who threw 3 shutout innings allowing just 4 hits, while striking out 4.  Serratos featured a 74-78/79 mph fastball on the hill while effectively mixing in a handful of 63-68 mph curveballs.

Weiermiller dominates as Jackets win

The Georgia Jackets 15u defeated the East Cobb Pride 15u 1-0 in the second round of the playoffs.  Austin Weiermiller (2017, Alpharetta HS, GA) dominated on the hill tossed 5 innings allowing just 2 hits, while striking out an incredible 13 batters.  Weiermiller showed a solid arm action and was around the plate with his 81-83/85 mph fastball, which had armside run, as well as his 70-71/73 mph sinking changeup.

Jason Rooks (2017, Walton HS, GA) showed good bat speed and a power to all fields approach going 1-1 with 1 triple, 1 run scored and 1 walk.  Will Lumpkin (2016, Handley HS, AL) also showed well going 1-2 with 1 RBI.

For the Pride, Jackson Braden (2017, Calhoun HS, GA), took the tough-luck-loss going 4 innings allowing 1 run on 3 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 1.  Braden hit 76-78/79 mph on his fastball in his start.

Chet Lemon's Juice defeated SWFL Navy 15u 5-0 to advance past the second round of the playoffs.  Jimmy Miller (2018, Villages Charter HS, FL) started and earned the win for the Juice going 4 shutout innings allowing just 3 hits, while recording 4 strikeouts.  Miller showed good armside run on his 71-75/77 mph fastball and showed good depth on his 58-65 mph 12/6 curveball.  

DeAndre Shelton (2017, Apopka HS, FL) lead the way for the offense going 1-1 with 1 run scored, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  Rafael Libuano (2017, Trinity Catholic HS, FL) showed a patient approach and good bat speed going 1-1 with 1 RBI. 

For SWFL, Josh Ashby (2017, South Fort Myers HS, FL) went 1-1 with 1 double and 1 walk.

The Carrollwood Gators 2017 defeated the Jacksonville Warriors 15u White 2-0 in the second round of the playoffs.  Ryan Glass (2017, Steinbrenner HS, FL) started and earned the win for the Gators going 5 shutout innings allowing just 3 hits, while striking out 1 using a 64-69/70 mph fastball.

Offensively for the Gators, CJ Van Eyk (2017, Steinbrenner HS, FL) lead the way going 2-2 with 1 run scored and 1 stolen base.  Kenny Rodriguez (2017, Gaither HS, FL) added in a 1-2 day with a double and Jacob Jones (2017, Jesuit HS, FL) went 1-1 with 1 triple, 1 run scored and 1 RBI.

For the Warriors, Bradley Parker (2017, Atlantic Coast HS, FL) went 1-1 with a single.    

McGowan sparks Shockwave offense in win

The SC Shockwave defeated S3 Texas by a score of 15-2 in round 2 of the playoffs.  Leadoff man, Kendall McGowan (2017, East Rutherford HS, NC), went 2-3 with 1 double, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.  Drew Yniesta (2017, Fort Dorchester HS, SC) added in a 1-3 with 2 runs scored, 3 RBI, 1 stolen base and 1 walk day at the plate.  William Fleming (2018, Christ HS, NC) also showed well by going 2-2 with 2 runs scored, 2 RBI, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  

Pitching for the Shockwave was Brett Young (2017, Conway HS, SC) who went 3 innings allowing 2 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks, while recording 1 strikeout.  Young threw almost all fastballs while on the mound which sat between 72-75 mph and topped out at 76 mph.

For S3 Texas, McCade Stafford (2017, Calhoun HS, TX) went 1-1 with 1 double and 2 RBI on the day.    

Riverside Riot gets the win

The Riverside Riot Baseball Club does everything right in their 12-1 victory over the Atlanta Blue Jays 15u. Dylan McDowell (2016, Riverside Poly, Riverside, CA) pitched 4 innings for Riverside Riot and allowed just 1 earned and 3 hits, while striking out 9 and walking zero. He also led the offense going 2-3 with 3 RBI and a run scored.

Michael Martinez (2017, John W. North, Grand Terrance, CA) also went 2-2 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored for Riverside Riot.

Blake Walker (2016, Pope, Marietta, GA) led the offense for the Blue Jays. He went 2-2.

South Florida gets it done

The South Florida Breakers 15u had great pitching and great hitting en route to a 7-2 victory over the Big League Baseball Academy. Grayson Fletcher (2017, Cypress Bay, Weston, FL) pitched 5 innings for South Florida allowing no earned and just 2 hits. He also struck out 3.

Richard Larin (2017, West Broward, Pembroke Pines, FL) led the offense for South Florida. He went 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Austin Sacks (2017, American Heritage, Plantation, FL) also collected 2 hits and 2 RBI.

Dillon Perez (2017, Naperville Central, Naperville, IL) led the offense for Big League Baseball. He went 2-3.

Toporek pitches Pride to win

The East Cobb Pride 15u defeated the Scorpions 15u 6-2 to earn the win and advance in the playoffs.  The Pride received a strong start from Aaron Toporek (2016, Walton HS, GA) who tossed 5 innings allowing just 2 unearned runs on 5 hits, while striking out 5.  Toporek used a 70-75/77 mph fastball while on the mound while effectively mixing in a handful of low 60's curveballs.  

Andrew Skorcz (2017, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA) helped lead the way for the Pride offense by going 1-2 with 1 triple and 3 RBI.  Garrett Cook (2017, Milton HS, GA) added in a 2-2 with 2 RBI day at the plate.  
For the Scorpions, Noah Chevalier (2017, Boone HS, FL) went 2-3 at the plate with a pair of singles.  

Ashby's walk off bunt helps SWFL win

The SWFL Navy 15u defeated FSB 15u 1-0 in the first round of the playoffs.  Josh Ashby (2017, South Fort Myers HS, FL) picked up the game winning RBI by reaching on a sacrifice bunt in the bottom of the 5th.  Matisse Bober (2017, Riverdale HS, FL) scored the only run going 1-1 with 1 triple and 1 walk on the day.  Leadoff man, William Robertson (2017, Lakewood Ranch HS, FL) went 1-2 with 1 double.  

SWFL starter, Jacob Eastman (2017, Port Charlotte HS, FL) didn't allow a hit in his 4 innings and managed to strikeout 5 using a 75-79/81 mph fastball.  Bradley Clark (2017, Fort Myers HS, FL) came out of the pen to earn the win tossing a perfect inning and striking out one batter featuring a 72-75 mph fastball.  

FSB starter, Andrey Lopez (2017, West Broward HS, FL) took a no decision going 4 innings allowing just 4 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 2 using a 69-76/77 mph fastball.  

Baynum's no hitter helps So Cal to victory

The So Cal NTT 15u defeated the Team Elite Grey 5-0 in the first round of the tournament.  Cameron Baynum (2016, Sussex Technical HS, DE) tossed a no-hitter in his 5 innings on the mound allowing just 2 walks, while striking out 3.  While on the mound, Baynum featured a 70-76/79 mph fastball.  

Offensively for So Cal, Jon Jon Conahan (2017, St Joseph Regional HS, NJ) went 1-2 with 1 double, 1 run scored and 1 RBI at the plate.  Jonah Beamon (2018, Covenant Day HS, NC) added in a 2-2 day with 2 runs scored, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  Terrence Lubin (2016, Xavier HS, NJ) also showed well going 1-2 with 1 run scored, 1 RBI with 1 walk.  

For the Elite, Asher Standridge (2016, Jefferson HS, GA) showed impressive velocity on his 78-82 mph fastball which showed armside life.

The SWFL Grey 15u defeated the Lake Norman Copperheads 1-0 in the first round of the playoffs.  SWFL managed to walk off in the bottom of the 7th inning to earn the win.  Zach Lang (2017, Gulf Coast HS, FL) earned the win tossing all 5 innings allowing just 1 hit and 1 walk, while recording 5 strikeouts.  Lang showed impressive velocity on his fastball throwing it between 75-82 mph with it peaking at 83 mph.  

Offensively for SWFL, Gus Cunningham (2016, Canterbury HS, FL) knocked in the lone run for the walk-off win going 1-2 with 1 double.  

For the Copperheads, Kayne Pfeifer (2018, Cox Mill HS, NC) took the tough-luck-loss going 4 1/3 innings allowing just 1 run on 2 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 1.  Pfeifer threw almost all fastballs in his outing which ranged from 73-76 mph and topping out at 80 mph.  

Leverett throws perfect game as Tigers win

The East Cobb Tigers 15u defeated the Banditos of Austin 15-0 in the first round of the playoffs.  Adam Leverett (2017, My De Sales Academy HS, GA) tossed a perfect game in his 3 innings pitched, while striking out 5.  Leverett had an impressive 78.4% strike rate primarily using his 78-81 mph fastball while on the mound and mixed in a couple 71 mph curveballs.  

Offensively for the Tigers, Sam Stepp (2017, Dalton HS, GA) went 3-3 with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and 3 RBI.  Leadoff man, Carrington Evans (2016, Catersville HS, GA) added in a 2-3 day with 2 runs scored, 1 RBI and 3 stolen base performance.  Austin Trammell (2017, Calhoun HS, GA) also showed well going 1-2 with 1 run scored and 2 RBI, while Chase Goodband (2016, Clarence Senior HS, NY) went 1-2 with 1 double, 1 run scored and 2 RBI.  

Florida Pokers Respond and Edge Out Marlins

Down 3-0, Florida Pokers Underclass Carolina came back and topped the Manatee Marlins 4-3. Their three-run third inning tied the game up.

Winning pitcher Fisher Cole (2017, Cardinal Gibbons, FL) pitched three scoreless innings. He gave up three hits and one walk. Cole struck out two hitters. Pokers starter Reddon McLaurine (2017, Gulf Breeze, FL) threw two innings, faced 11 batters, sat 73-77 mph, and topped out at 78 mph.

Leland Reames (2017, Gulf Breeze, FL) hit a two-run double in the third and followed that up with an RBI single in the fourth. Reames went 3 for 3 on the day and added a run scored as well. Jack Durkin (2017, Cardinal Gibbons, FL) singled twice and scored two runs.

For the Manatee Marlins, Najee Rhodes (2017, Out-Of-Door Academy, FL) went a perfect 2 for 2 with a run scored and an RBI. Giancarlo Gamboa-Barrios (2017, Braden River, FL) singled twice and scored a run for the Marlins.

NY Gothams Shine in 8-1 Win

The NY Gothams showed up offensively and poured it on the East Cobb Nationals 15U team in a 8-1 win. The Gothams scored three times in the first and second inning to divide themselves from East Cobb early on.

Spencer Letizia (2016, Xavier, NY) led the way for the Gothams offensively. He smacked two singles, doubled, and drove in six runs on the day. Michael Farinelli (2017, Horace Mann, NY) and Ryan Porcaro (2016, Millennium, NY) both singled and added two runs at the dish.

Lester Perez (2016, New Settlement, NY) gave up one unearned run, one hit, and picked up the win over his four innings on the mound. He walked four and struck out six batters. His fastball ranged from 72-79 mph.

For East Cobb, Zach Cole (2016, Cherokee, GA) singled and scored a run. Darien Wiggins (2017, Woodward Academy, GA) threw 1.1 scoreless innings and his fastball ranged from 76-80 mph. Stephen Owen (2017, Kings Ridge Christian, GA) threw 1.2 innings, faced 12 batters, and his fastball ranged from 75-79 mph. Carson Fowler (2017, Cherokee, GA) couldn't record an out, but saw his fastball top out at 77 mph.


Riley Oday Leads Team Dugout to Victory

The Team Dugout 15U team enjoyed a three-run fourth inning and that was all the scoring needed. They beat the RBI Playmakers 3-0.

Winning pitcher Riley Oday (2016, Bishop Shananan, PA) was almost perfect in his five inning outing. He gave up just one hit and went on to strike out eight batters. He threw 67% of his pitches for strikes. His fastball ranged from 80-83 mph. Nick Oday (2018, Bishop Shananan, PA) and Shane Walker (2017, Downingtown West Campus, PA) both singled and scored a run for Team Dugout.

Nathan Adams (2017, Providence, FL) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings for the Playmakers. His 77-78 mph fastball generated three strikeouts. Russell Libby (2017, The Bolles, FL) was the only Playmaker player to get in the hit column.

Team Elite White 6-1 Winners

Team Elite White defeated the Southfield Cardinals by a score of 6-1. They scored in all of the first three innings to open up the scoring quickly. 

Alex Hodges (2017, Archer, GA) gave only one hit in his three scoreless innings of winning work. He walked two, struck out one, and his fastbal topped out at 78 mph.

Steven Diamond (2016, South Forsyth, GA) hit a two-run single in the second inning to increase their lead to 4-0. Adam Achecar (2017, The Lovett School, GA) and Trenton Maddox (2017, Winder-Barrow, GA) both scored twice for Team Elite.

Xavier Jefferson (2016, Southfield-Lathrup, MI) only gave up two earned runs and one hit in his four inning outing. He did walk eight batters and he also had four strikeouts. Jefferson and Keith Powe Jr. (2017, Southfield-Lathrup, MI) both hit singles in the loss.


Blue Jays Score Two Runs on One Hit and Win

The Atlanta Blue Jays 15U team made the most of one hit in their 2-1 victory over MyScoutDay - Best. 

Winning pitcher Pete Sass (2017, Decatur, GA) threw five innings of one-run ball. He surrendered four hits and one walk. Sass struck out two batters. Hayden Dwyer (2017, North Atlanta, GA) hit a line drive single to center in the fourth. Cal Hunnicut (2017, North Atlanta, GA) and Max Cohen (2017, Lassiter, GA) both scored on an error in the fifth inning to take the lead.

Tyler Howard (2016, Harvester Christian Academy, GA) gave up two unearned runs in his 4 2/3 innings of work. He gave up only one hit and walked four batters. His fastball topped out at 77 mph. DeMarcus Reid (2016, Drew, GA) hit a run-scoring line drive single to center in the third. Beau McKenna (2017, Lakeside, GA) came around and scored on Reid's single.

CBA Copperheads Elite wins big.

Marucci ArkLaTex 15 Rushsworth outdone by Alex Marquand (Columbus, Columbus, GA 2018) and CBA Copperheads Elite, 7-2. He went 2-2 for the game with a single in the first and second innings. Jarrett Carter (Columbus, Columbus, GA 2017) was the other hot hitter for the CBA Copperheads Elite. He went 1-2 for the game with scoring one run and had one RBI. CBA Cooperheads Elite as a offense today had seven runs with nine hits.

Jonathan Brand (Columbus, Columbus, GA 2018) got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over five innings with striking out two, walked two and gave up four hits. Patrick Harrison (Loyola College Prep, Shrevport, LA 2017) lasted 1 1/3 innings on the bump for Marucci ArkLaTex 15 Rushworth before being taken out. He gave up four hits and five runs.

The Gotham Giants 15u scored 2 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Banditos of Austin 5-3. Nick Mongelli (2016, Marlboro Central, Marlboro, NY) had a solid outing for Gotham going 5.2 innings allowing only 3 earned and 4 hits. He also added a hit, an RBI, and a run scored at the plate.

John Vasilak (2016, Our Lady of Lourdes, Hopewell Junction, NY) also collected a hit and an RBI at the plate for Gotham.

Landon Ausley (2017, Lake Travis, The Hills, TX) led the offense for the Banditos. He went 2-3 with an RBI.

S3 Texas and Baseball Scoutz Tie

Baseball Scoutz rallied from a three-run deficit, and the game ended in a 6-6 tie with S3 Texas in Fort Myers on Monday.

Garrett Marchman (2017, Greenbrier HS, GA) drove in three runs for the Scoutz, while Bryce Harnage (2017, New Southeast Bulloch HS, GA), Joseph Ham (2017, New Southeast Bulloch HS, GA), and Hunter Rachels (2017, Evans HS, GA) batted one run in each. The Scoutz’ four runs on six hits were spread around the lineup, as no player recorded more than one of each.

Tyler Rebber (2016, Statesboro HS, GA) was the best pitcher for the Scoutz, allowing just one hit with five strikeouts over 3.2 innings. His fastball topped out at 81 mph.

Reynaldo Lopez (2017, Eagle Pass HS, TX) drove in two runs to lead S3 Texas, as Forrest Crisp (2017, Calallen HS, TX) and McCade Stafford (2017, Calhoun HS, TX) added one each. Walker Canales (2017, Calhoun HS, TX) and Stafford scored two runs each in the tie.

Brent Gamez (2017, Calallen HS, TX) tossed a complete game with five strikeouts. His fastball peaked at 78 mph.

Bigstix Gamers Charge Out to Lead, Win

Bigstix Gamers scored the first eight runs of the game, and claimed an 8-4 victory over Scorpions 15U on Monday in Fort Myers at the JetBlue Player Development Complex.

Blake Hudgins (2016, Jones County HS, GA) drove in two runs for the Gamers, while Keith Wilson (2016, East Coweta HS, GA), Gavin Bloodworth (2018, First Presbyterian Day School, GA), and Dakota Carter (2017, Alcovy HS, GA) added one run batted in each. Wilson, Bloodworth, and Brooks Veal (2017, Jones County HS, GA) each singled twice, and Wilson led the team with three runs scored.

Joah Curry (2017, Locust Grove HS, GA) earned the win for the Gamers, allowing just one run on one hit over four innings. He struck out three, and his fastball topped out at 81 mph. Carter recorded the final out, and earned the save.

Connor Gonzalez (2017, Bishop Kenny HS, FL), Jacob Mayuski (2017, Lake Minneola HS, FL), and Logan Lawrence (2017, University HS, FL) drove in one run a piece for the Scorpions, and five players added one hit each.

Early Runs Allow East Cobb Tigers to Rally

East Cobb Tigers 15U scored five runs in the top of the second, recovering from an early 3-0 deficit to claim a 6-4 victory over Lake Norman Copperheads in Fort Myers on Monday.

Runs were driven in, one each, for the Tigers by Carrington Evans (2016, Cartersville HS, GA), Jack Lipson (2017, Mount De Sales Academy, GA), Adam Laverett (2017, Mount De Sales Academy, GA), and Alex Parham (2017, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA). Lipson and Sam Stepp (2017, Dalton HS, GA) each recorded two singles, while Stepp led the team with two runs scored in the win.

Larry Mezner earned the win for the Tigers, allowing just an unearned run on three hits over six innings. His fastball topped out at 80 mph with five strikeouts.

Kayne Pfeifer (2018, Cox Mill HS, NC), AJ Knight (2017, Rowan County Early College, NC), and Taylor Hochman (2017, Pine Lake Preparatory School, NC) each drove in one run for the Copperheads. Pfeifer singled twice, and was the only Copperhead wit two hits. Keegan Nimblett (2017, South Iredell HS, NC) scored a team-high two runs.

Alex Cohen (2017, Pine Lake Preparatory School, NC) pitched well for the Copperheads, and was not involved in the decision. He did not allow an earned run over four innings, and his fastball reached 77 mph.

Georgia Elite Claims 6-2 Victory

Georgia Elite scored four runs in the top of the second inning, and never trailed in a 6-2 victory over SC Shockwave at Terry Park in Fort Myers on Monday.

Johns Hamilton (2017, Greater Atlanta Christian School, GA) led Georgia with two runs batted in, while Max Tracey (2017, Norcross HS, GA) and Zachary Green (2017, Wesleyan HS, GA) drove in one run each with a double. Tracey also led the team with two hits, while six players each scored one run in the Georgia Elite victory.

Tracey earned the victory for Georgia Elite, allowing one earned run over 4.1 innings. His fastball topped out at 80 mph with four strikeouts. Cole McCue (2017, Peachtree Ridge HS, GA) also pitched 1.2 scoreless innings, and his fastball peaked at 78 mph.

The lone run batted in for the Shockwave was provided by Kendall McGowan (2017, East Rutherford HS, NC), and the two runs were scored by Robert Satcher (2017, Ben Lippen HS, SC) and Morgan Morris (2018, Laurence Manning Academy, SC). Five players supplied one hit each in the losing effort.

CFBL 2017 Elite Wins 12-9 Shootout

CFBL 2017 Elite scored all of their runs in three big innings, and claimed a 12-9 victory over Austin Banditos at Terry Park in Fort Myers on Monday.

Austin Mitchell (2018, Lake Mary HS, FL) led the run production for CFBL, driving in four runs with two hits and a run scored. Adrian Delgado (2017, West Orange HS, FL) added two runs batted in, and Austin Huber (2017, Deland HS, FL) and Jake Molle (2017, University HS, FL) drove in one run. Molle, Mitchell, and Drake Rodriguez (2017, Vero Beach HS, FL) led the team with two hits, and Huber and Juri Sabb (2018, Seminole HS, FL) scored three runs in the victory.

Joshua Concannon (2017, University HS, FL) was the top pitcher for CFBL, tossing 4.1 innings with three earned runs allowed. He struck out three hitters, and his fastball topped out at 78 mph.

Alex DeLeon (2017, Lago Vista HS, TX) drove in three runs, and Daniel Cole (2017, Harker Heights HS, TX) added another two runs batted in. Evan McDonald (2017, Pflugerville HS, TX) and Michael Young (2017, Calallen HS, TX) each drove in one run in the losing effort. McDonald and Cole both doubled twice and scored twice, while Steve Svoboda (2017, Hendrickson HS, TX) also scored two runs.

FSB 15U Scores 14 Runs in Shootout Victory

FSB 15U scored four runs in the first two innings, and six runs in the third to claim a 14-7 victory over Northern Valley Ravens 15U on Monday at Riverdale High School.

Jonathan Hernandez (2016, West Broward HS, FL) drove in three runs to lead the production for FSB. J.D. Herrera (2018, Pembroke Pines Charter School, FL) added two runs batted in, while six other players drove in one run. Hernandez and Blake Brito (2017, Mater Academy Charter, FL) came up with two hits each, with both of Hernandez’s hits coming as doubles. Brito, Jonathan Valencia (2016, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL), Issac Rodriguez (2017, St. Thomas Aquinas HS, FL), and Zachary Klempner (2017, St. Thomas Aquinas HS, FL) each scored two runs.

Kolton Hones (2017, St. Thomas Aquinas HS, FL) picked up the victory over 2.2 innings. Ryan Langford (2017, West Broward HS, FL) also pitched 1.1 scoreless innings.

Frank Cascio (2017, Pascack Valley HS, NJ) led the Ravens offense with two runs batted in and two runs scored. Connor McCabe (2017, St. Joseph Regional HS, NY) added two singles in the losing effort.

Christian Loucas (2017, Pascack Valley HS, NJ) pitched well over two innings for the Ravens, allowing neither a run or a hit.

Six Runs in Fourth Gives Win to ArkLaTex

Marucci ArkLaTex 15 Rushworth scored six runs in the fourth inning to overcome a 3-0 deficit, and claimed a 7-4 victory over Team Dugout 15U on Monday in Fort Myers.

Jake Hammond (2018, Ouachita Parish HS, LA) led the offensive effort for ArkLaTex, as he drove in three runs with two hits. Spencer Davis (2017, Sterlington HS, LA), Weston Swanner (2018, St. Frederick HS, LA), and Dean Hamiter (2017, Loyola College Prep HS, LA) each drove in one run, as well. Sam Baldwin (2018, Ruston HS, LA) led the team with three singles, and Patrick Harrison (2017, Loyola College Prep HS, LA) scored a game-high two runs.

Davis pitched all seven innings, coming on in relief in the first inning. He did not allow an earned run, and struck out three hitters in the win. His fastball topped out at 75 mph.

Steven Williams (2017, Deerfield-Windsor HS, GA) drilled a home run, driving in two runs with three hits in the victory. Pat DeMarco (2017, Poly Prep Country Day School, NY) led the run production with four runs batted in and three hits. Will Hardigree (2017, Hebron Christian Academy, GA) added two runs batted in, while four other players drove in one run. The three hits from Williams and DeMarco led the team, while five players scored two runs each.

The winning pitcher for Elite Prime was Tyler Keenan (2017, Cleveland HS, NC), who worked three scoreless, hitless innings with four strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 81 mph.

Connecticut Wolfpack 15U scored a run in the top of the seventh to force a 5-5 tie with Florida Hardballers 15U at Cypress Lake High School on Sunday.

Thomas Cullimore (2016, Fairfield College Preparatory HS, CT) drove in two runs for the Wolfpack, while Max Richlin (2016, Staples HS, CT), Jack Cohen (2016, Fairfield Warde HS, CT), and Peter Marren (2017, Darien HS, CT) each drove in one run. Richlin led the team with two hits, while five players scored one run each.

Jonathan Dedomenico (2016, Staples HS, CT) tossed a complete game, allowing two earned runs on five hits with four strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 73 mph.

Jarrett Brown (2017, Santa Fe HS, FL), Justin McCranie (2017, Buchholz HS, FL), and Eddie LeFever (2018, Trinity Catholic HS, FL) each drove in one run for the Hardballers. Brown led the team in both hits and runs, recording two of each.

East Cobb Astros scored ten runs in the second inning, and cruised to an 11-2 victory over SWFL Grey 15U Sunday at City of Palms Park in Fort Myers.

Nick Laster (2016, West Lake HS, GA) led the run production for the Astros, as he drove in three runs with one hit. Five other players added one RBI each. Cage Cox (2016, Cairo HS, GA) and Bryan Grant (2017, Kell HS, GA) both had two singles, while Wesley Brooks (2016, North Gwinnett HS, GA) and Chareef Allen (2016, Hillgrove HS, GA) led the team with two runs scored.

Kalen Puckett (2017, Upson-Lee HS, GA) fired a complete game for the Astros, allowing two unearned runs on two hits with five strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 80 mph.

FTB Game Day Bats 15U scored three runs in the first two innings combined, and only needed two hits to claim a 4-1 victory over East Cobb Pride 15U on Sunday in Fort Myers.

Kobe Hartley (2017, Northeast HS, FL) and Matt Wiseman (2017, Eustis HS, FL) each drove in one run for FTB. Hartley and Tyler Edling (2017, Mitchell HS, FL) each had one hit, while the team’s four runs were supplied by Hartley, Tyler Pynes (2017, Haines City HS, FL), and Edling, who scored twice in the win.

Bradley Brockwell (2017, Harmony HS, FL) worked three scoreless, hitless innings, and earned the win with two strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 74 mph. Florida Burn 2017 Pennant scored two runs in the bottom of the first, which proved to be enough in a 3-1 victory over Jacksonville Warriors 15U White in Port Charlotte on Sunday.

Graham Hoffman (2017, Calvary Christian School, FL) and John Chiaramonte (2016, Calvary Christian School, FL) drove in one run a piece for the Burn. Chairamonte also led the team with two hits, while Hoffman and Kyle Bachle (2017, Venice HS, FL) provided one each. The three runs were scored by Hoffman, Bachle, and Brady McConnell (2017, St. Andrew’s School, FL).

Nate Gillen (2017, Estero HS, FL) was the winning pitcher for the Burn, tossing four scoreless, hitless innings. Nine of his 12 outs were on strikes, and his fastball peaked at 82 mph.

Dallas Tigers - Elliott held a 9-2 lead after four innings, but had to hang on for a 9-7 victory over Manatee Marlins in Port Charlotte on Sunday.

Chase Hacker (2017, Farmersville HS, TX) drilled a home run to lead the Tigers offense, as he drove in three runs with two runs scored. Five other players drove in one run, and five players had one hit on the game. Connor Mushinski (2017, Argyle HS, TX), Dylan Antonelli (2017, Flower Mound HS, TX), and Hacker led the team with two runs scored in the victory.

Jacob Garrity (2017, Frisco HS, TX) earned the victory for the Tigers, as he did not allow an earned run over four innings. He allowed four hits and struck out two, displaying a fastball that topped out at 80 mph. Max Mitchell (2017, Terrell HS, TX) recorded the final out, and was awarded the save. Xtreme Baseball Red 15U scored a run in the top of the sixth inning to break a 2-2 tie, claiming a 3-2 victory over IBAHS Knights Prime on Sunday at Bishop Verot High School.

The three Xtreme runs were driven in by Reynolds Sheltra (2017, Treasure Coast HS, FL), Alexander Martin (2018, Estero HS, FL), and Alberto Oliveras (2017, South Fort Myers HS, FL). Olivera also scored two runs, while Nathan Vetter (2017, North Port HS, FL) scored the other. Sheltra led the team with two hits, including a double, in the victory.

Sheltra also earned the victory on the mound. He allowed two runs on five hits over six innings, and struck out seven hitters. His fastball topped out at 76 mph.

The Xtreme Baseball Red 15u racked up 12 hits en route to their 8-4 win over the East Cobb Nationals 15u. Andrew Arsenault (2017, Mariner, Cape Coral, FL) picked up the win on the mound for Xtreme. He went 2 innings allowing no earned and just 1 hit. He also went 2-4 at the plate and added an RBI.

Reynolds Sheltra (2017, Treasure Coast, Port St. Lucie, FL) and Alberto Oliveras (2017, South Fort Myers, Fort Myers, FL) led the offensive attack for Xtreme. Each collected 2 hits, and they combined for 4 RBI and 3 runs scored. Avery Hall (2017, Cypress Lake, Cape Coral, FL) also picked up 2 hits and added a run scored.

Columbia Angels pulled away in the last two innings, claiming a 10-2 victory over Big League Baseball Academy at Terry Park in Fort Myers on Sunday.

Luke Metzer (2017, Dulles HS, TX) led the Angels offense with a home run and a double, as he drove in three runs with three hits. Ryan Fisch (2017, Clements HS, TX) and Josh Lapierre (2017, George Ranch HS, TX) added one run batted in each. Dylan Rock (2017, George Ranch HS, TX) and Parker Osburn (2017, Clear Creek HS, TX) had two hits each, while Jack Dallas (2017, West Orange-Stark HS, TX) and Connor Henry (2017, Monsignor Kelly HS, TX) scored a team-high two runs.

Metzer was also the leader on the mound, as he worked six complete innings. He allowed one earned run on six hits with seven strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 78 mph.

Scorpions Panhandle 2017 scored the first two runs of the game, and held on to claim a 2-1 victory over North Georgia Hurricanes on Sunday at Terry Park.

The two Scorpions runs were driven in by Stephen Veliz (2017, Lincoln HS, FL) and Jesse Hall (2017, Lincoln HS, FL), and were scored by Nick Standriff (2017, Lincoln HS, FL) and Andrew Higdon (2017, Robert F. Monroe Day School, FL). Seven players recorded a hit in the victory.

Jonathan Drose (2017, North Florida Christian School, FL) was the winning pitcher for the Scorpions. He allowed one run on four hits over five innings, and his fastball peaked at 77 mph. He also struck out five hitters.

Seven players had one hit, and David Vazquez (2017, Flanagan HS, FL) scored a team-high two runs in the Elite Squad victory.

Ethan Klein (2017, Franklin D. Roosevelt HS, NY) and Nathan Dougherty (2016, Wappingers Falls, NY) led the offensive effort for the Giants, as each player drove in two runs. Nick Mongelli (2018, Marlboro Central HS, NY), John Vasilak (2016, Our Lady of Lourdes HS, NY) and Justin Dunikowski (2016, Wallkill HS, NY) drove in one run a piece. Joseph Cigna (2016, Our Lady of Lourdes HS, NY) recorded a team-high two hits, while Dougherty, Mongelli, and Cigna each scored two runs in the win.

Tyler Howard (2016, Harvester Christian Academy, GA) and Markell Graham (2017, Fulton County HS, GA) added two runs batted in each, while Jordan Holt (2016, Jonesboro HS, GA) and Kiernan Acklin (2017, Lakeside HS, GA) drove in one run a piece. Isom and Campbell recorded a team-high three hits each, and Acklin, Howard, and Aaron Ushery (2016, Our Lady of Mercy Catholic HS, GA) scored three runs a piece.

IBAHS Knights 15U scored the final four runs of the game, breaking a 4-4 tie to claim an 8-4 victory over HCYP Raiders in Fort Myers on Sunday.

Alan Marrero (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR) had a huge game to lead the Knights, driving in four runs, scoring another two, and recording three hits. Delvin Perez (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR), Abraham Rivera (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR), and Jose Pizarro (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR) each added one run batted in. Rivera, Perez, and Jonathan Nieves (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR) each had two hits in the victory, while Julio Canales (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR) scored two runs.

Altoon Coleman (2017, Winter Springs HS, FL) led the offensive effort for the Bad Boys, driving in two runs with three singles. One run each was driven in by Robbie Scott (2017, Lyman HS, FL), Tyler Robison (2017, Trinity Christian Academy, FL), Ryan Masterson (2016, Oviedo HS, FL), and Ken Isenburg (2017, Trinity Christian Academy, FL). Robison also added three hits, including a double, while Robison, Scott, and Geovani Sostre (2016, Winter Springs HS, FL) scored two runs a piece.

Coleman earned the win on the mound, as he allowed one earned run with five strikeouts over two innings. His fastball topped out at 89 mph. Joshua Bates (2017, Bishop Moore HS, FL) tossed four scoreless innings, only allowing one hit. He struck out eight hitters, and his fastball peaked at 79 mph.

Joshua Bennett (2016, Creekview HS, GA) drove in both Jackets runs, which were scored by Brett Hawkins (2016, Cambridge HS, GA) and Tyler Koch (2016, North Forsyth HS, GA). Cruz Bautista (2017, McCallie School, TN) and Adam Richards (2017, Lambert HS, GA) also added one hit each in the loss.

Palm Beach Select totaled ten hits in the game.  Xavier Edwards (2018, Wellington, FL) went 3-4 with a RBI and Shane Shuba (2017, Jupiter, FL) went 1-3 with one RBI.  Ryan Wimbush (2018, Royal Palm Beach, FL) went 2-3 with a triple and Noah Vargas (2017, Jupiter, FL) went 2-4 with one RBI.  

Marucci ArkLaTex also recorded ten hits in the contest.  Mahlon Markle (2018, Monroe, LA) went 3-3 and Spencer Davis (2017, Monroe, LA) went 2-3 with two RBIs.  

Jville Warriors and Bigstix Play to Stalemate

The Bigstix Gamers and the Jacksonville Warriors 15U Black battled to a 1-1 draw Saturday at Riverdale High School.  

Cole Reber (2017, St. Augusti ne, FL) had the lone RBI for the Warriors.  Reber singled to right field in the top of the 6th to tie the game at 1-1.  He has a quick bat and drives the ball with good contact.  Cole Escher (2017, Green Cove Springs, FL) and Parcell (#4) also had hits for the Warriors.  

Montford (#47) pitched 6.1 innings for the Warriors.  Montford allowed just two walks and gave up no earned runs.  He has good arm side run on his 75 mph fastball and flashed a late breaking 65 mph curveball.

Tyler Courtney (2017, Peachtree City, GA) threw the complete game for the Gamers.  Courtney allowed just four hits, two walks, and struck out three.  His fastball sat at 74-77 mph and touched 78 mph.  The right-hander uses his lower half well and shows control to both sides of the plate.

Joah Curry (2017, Locust Grove, GA) went 2-3 with for the Gamers.  

Pro Source Cruise to Easy 10-1 Victory

Pro Source 15U Abbott defeated the Miami Suns 15U, 10-1, in five innings.

Chase Harris (2017, Ponder HS, TX) led the way going 3-3 at the plate, with a double, and two singles.  Jalen Hurt (2017, Liberty Christian HS, TX) also contributed with a double, and went 2-3 with two runs and one RBI in the game.  Will Spence (2017, Flower Mound HS, TX) also went 2-3, with a double, single, one run, and one RBI.

On the mound, Jake Crabtree (2017, John H. Guyer HS, TX) pitched four innings of work, giving up one earned run on four hits, and struck out three.  He had a fastball that averaged 75-78 mph, and topped out at 80 mph.

For the Suns, Henry Anthony Vilar (2018, Slam Charter HS, FL) went 1-2 at the plate, with a single.  Tyler Grant (2018, Gulliver Schools, FL) also went 1-2 in the game, with a single and one run scored.

Northern Valley Ravens 15U survives S3 Texas 10-5 thanks to Frank Cascio's (Pascack Valley, Hillsdale, NJ 2017) late-game heroics. Riley Weis got on the base four times in the game for Northern Valley Ravens 15U. He scored one run and had two RBIs with a doubled in fourth inning. Jack Gaddis Calallen, Corpus Christi, TX 2017) racked up two RBIs on two hits for S3 Texas. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Connor McCabe (St Joseph Regional, Pearl River, NY 2017) got the win in relief for Northern Valley Ravens 15U. He pitched one inning and allowed one run. McCade Stafford (Calhoun, Seadrift, TX 2017) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 5 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

The CFBL 2017 Elite needed just four hits to beat FSB 15u 1-0. Chris Brock (2017, Lake Mary, Sanford, FL) went 6 innings for CFBL. He allowed just 2 hits, while striking out 4.

Bryan Wilcox (2017, West Broward, Davie, FL) pitched well for FSB. He went 6 innings as well allowing no earned runs and just 4 hits, while striking out 5 and allowing no walks.

Jake Molle (2017, University, Debary, FL) led the offense for CFBL. He went 2-2 and had the lone RBI of the game.

Four-run Second Lifts Ravens to 4-3 Win

The Teel Ravens made the most of three hits and a four-run second inning, to defeat No Fear, 5-3.

Leadoff hitter Michael Cirilli (2016, Ramsey HS, NJ) went 1-2 at the plate, with a single and one run scored.  Zambito went 1-2 in the game as well, with a single, one run, and two RBIs in the game.

On the mound, Cirilli pitched three innings of work,  giving up just three hits, and struck out four.  He showed control on both sides of the plate and was able to throw strikes with all of his pitches.  He had a good fastball that topped out at 82 mph.

For No Fear, Austin Burke (2016, Great Oak HS, CA) went a perfect 2-2 in the game, two singles, a stolen base, and one RBI.  Burke also pitched two innings, giving up one earned run on three hits, and struck out three, while allowing four walks.  He had an impressive fastball that peaked at 83 mph, and showed good command of a good 68 mph curveball for his off-speed.

The Scorpions 15U and the East Cobb Tigers 15U ended in a 4-4 tie after three innings of play.

Noah Chevalier (2017, Boone HS, FL) led the way for the Scorpions, going 1-1 at the plate, with a double, two runs scored, one RBI, and one drawn walk.  Connor Gonzalez (2017, Bishop Kenny HS, FL) also contributed by going a perfect 2-2 with two singles and an RBI.  On the mound, Nick Dicapua (2017, Melbourne Senior HS, FL) pitched two innings giving up one earned run on two hits, and struck out three.  He had a fastball that averaged 72-73/74 mph, and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.

For the tigers, Jack Lipson (2017, Mount De Sales HS, GA) went 1-2 at the plate, with a single and an RBI.  Chase Goodband (2016, Clarence Senior HS, NY) pitched three complete innings, giving up three earned runs on eight hits, and struck out two.

Kendall McGowan (2017, East Rutherford HS, NC) and William Fleming (2018, Christ HS, NC) led the way with a double a piece in the game.  Fleming finished the game 2-3 at the plate, with one run.  Griffin Jester (2017, Belton Honea Path HS, SC) went 1-3 with a single, and two RBIs.

On the mound, Connor Grover (2018, Ashley Ridge HS, SC) pitched four innings of work, giving up just one hit and struck out two.  He had a fastball that topped out at 75, and mixed in a good curveball for his off-speed pitch.

For the Scoutz, Tate Grizzard (2017, Alcovy HS, GA) went 2-3 in the game, with two singles and a run scored.  Jordan Ibarra (2017, Evans HS, GA) pitched 4.1 innings, giving up four earned runs on eight hits, and struck out four.  He had too had a good high 70's fastball that topped out at 78 mph, and mixed in a handful of good-breaking curveballs for his off-speed.

Chet Lemon’s Juice scored a run in four consecutive innings, and claimed a 7-2 victory over S3 Texas in Fort Myers on Saturday.

Brady Allen (2018, George W. Jenkins HS, FL) drove in two runs on two hits to lead the run production for the Juice. DeAndre Shelton (2017, Apopka HS, FL) also added two hits, including a double. Shelton also stole a base, as did Jimmy Nealy (2016, Deland HS, FL) and Frank Niemann (2017, Lake Mary HS, FL) in the team’s win.

Jackson Dean (2017, Trinity Catholic HS, FL) earned the win for the Juice, allowing two runs on six hits over six innings. He struck out four hitters without a walk, and his fastball topped out at 75 mph.

Shuck allowed just the one hit, a Steven Cardey III (2016, Arlington HS, CA) single, over his five innings. He struck out five and walked just one. His fastball topped out at 81 mph.

Trey Pearce (2016, Gulf Coast HS, FL) was the leading hitter for Xtreme Baseball, as he drove in three runs with a double and a triple, scoring three runs. Christian Jayne (2018, Freedom Christian Academy, NC) had the game’s only two-hit output, while Hall and Austin Hittinger (2017, Houston County HS, GA) each added a double. Hittinger, Hall, Jayne, Cole Brannen (2017, The Westfield Schools, GA), and Matthew White (2017, Crisp Academy, GA) each scored one run.

The top pitcher for Chain Black was Hall, who allowed one run without a hit over 2.1 innings. He struck out six, and his fastball topped out at 86 mph.

The Louisville Slugger run production was led by Tristan Buckley (2016, Calvert Hall College HS, MD), who drove in two runs on one hit. Providing one run batted in a piece were Cole Tate (2017, Oconee County HS, GA) and Robert Brooks (2017, Wheeler HS, GA). The team’s six hits came from six players, as did the six runs.

Nicholas Thomson (2017, Woodward Academy, GA) did not allow an earned run over six innings, and struck out 12 hitters in his victory. He walked just one, and his fastball topped out at 73 mph. Caleb Brenczewski (2017, Fishers HS, IN) added two runs batted in, and Rhett Wintner (2017, Carmel HS, IN) drove in one. Morrell and Cole Barr (2017, Yorktown HS, IN) recorded a team-high two hits, while Morrell, Barr, Wintner, and Cooper Trinkle (2017, Columbus North HS, IN) scored two runs each.

Georgia Jackets 15U scored the only run of the game in the bottom of the fourth, and held CFBL 2017 Elite to just one hit in a 1-0 victory in Fort Myers on Saturday.

Jason Rooks (2017, Walton HS, GA) drove in the lone run of the game, which was scored by Chaney Rogers (2017, Gordon Lee HS, GA). The team’s five hits were recorded by Rooks — who had two — Rogers, Lee Kay (2017, Carrollton HS, GA), and Andrew Cash (2016, Flomaton HS, AL).

Rogers was the winning pitcher for the Jackets, as he worked three scoreless, hitless innings with six strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 84 mph. Cash got the save for his scoreless inning, and his fastball peaked at 83 mph. Chase Hacker (2017, Farmersville HS, TX) also added one run batted in. Masters also led the team with two hits and two runs scored. Hacker and Masters recorded the team’s only doubles, as well.

Masters also had a great day on the mound, working 3.1 scoreless, hitless innings. He struck out five with just one walk, and his fastball topped out at 83 mph. Hacker recorded the final out, and earned a save with a fastball that peaked at 83 mph.

HCYP Raiders Two-Hit East Cobb Tigers

HCYP Raiders starting pitcher Jack Harrell (2016, Catonsville HS, MD) tossed a complete game two-hitter, and led his team to an 8-0 victory over East Cobb Tigers 15U in Fort Myers on Saturday.

Harrell, who tossed just 54 pitches over his six innings, struck out three hitters and walked one. His fastball topped out at 74 mph.

Jack Schroeder (2017, Mount Hebron HS, MD) led the Raiders with three runs batted in and a run scored. Adding one run batted in a piece were Reed Galloway (2017, Marriotts Ridge HS, MD), Joshua Kulina (2016, Long Reach HS, MD), Gunnar Barnard (2017, Marriotts Ridge HS, MD), and Riley Seaman (2016, Howard HS, MD). Brad Haas (2016, South Carroll HS, MD) had a game high two hits, while Jack Stilling (2017, Mount Saint Joseph HS, MD) was the only player to score two runs.

Larry Mezner pitched well in relief for the Tigers. He fired 2.1 scoreless, hitless innings, and struck out four. His fastball peaked at 77 mph.

The two Tigers hits were both singles, and were recorded by Carrington Evans (2016, Cartersville HS, GA) and Mike O’Neil (2016, Harrison HS, GA).

Scorpions Prime 2017 Roll to Shutout

Scorpions Prime 2017 scored at least two runs in every inning, and surrendered just one hit in a 12-0 victory over Pro Source 15U Abbott on Saturday at Bishop Verot High School.

Greg Lewandoski (2017, Deland HS, FL) and Andrew Kaminsky (2017, The Masters Academy, FL) each drove in two runs for the Scorpions, while Logan Nugent (2017, Trinity Christian Academy, FL), Kyle Macalindong (2017, Buchholz HS, FL) and Robert Bell (2017, Father Lopez HS, FL) drove in one run a piece. Lewandoski’s three hits led the team, and Nugent and Matulia Jake (2017, Eustis HS, FL) added two. Five players scored two runs each in the victory.

The lone Pro Source hit was a single recorded by Jacob Nesbit (2017, Coppell HS, TX).

Sun Devils Rout Team Dugout

The Texas Sun Devils scored early and often in a 13-0 rout of Team Dugout in four innings. The Sun Devils offense logged ten hits from seven different players with Brandon Young (2016, Lumberton HS, TX) and Chase Kemp (2017, Nederland HS, TX) providing the power. Young led the way with a 2-3 game at the plate with a game-high three RBIs as Kemp added in a 2-3 effort at the plate with an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored.

Andrew Sheridan (2017, Sulphur HS, TX) picked up the win for the Sun Devils for his two and two thirds innings on the mound. Sheridan allowed one hit and no runs while walking none and striking out four with a fastball averaging 79 mph and topping out at 83 mph.


Early Lead Gives Tigers Win

The Dallas Tigers-Woods scored early and often, putting up five runs in the first inning to cruise to a 9-5 win over the South Florida Breakers 15U. The Tigers showed balance in their offense by logging nine hits from eight different players with Christian Ross Cadena (2017, Grapevine, TX) leading the way. Cadena finished the game 2-3 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored. Austin Sacks (2017, American Heritage HS, FL) provided a spark for the Breaker's with a 2-3 effort with an RBI and a double.

John Kodros (2018, Coppell HS, TX) is credited with the win for the Tigers bullpen for spending four innings on the mound. Kodros allowed four hits and three runs, one earned, while walking none and striking out five with an 11/5 or a 1/7 curveball and a fastball averaging 77 mph and topping out at 83 mph.


Jackets Rout FSB 14-0

The Georgia Jackets 15U blew out the FSB 15U 14-0 after an eight-run third inning put the game out of reach for a FSB offense that only managed one hit. The Jackets knocked in six hits from five different players and was led offensively by Will Lumpkin (2016, Handley HS, AL). Lumpkin finished a perfect 2-2 at the plate with two RBIs and a double as Jason Rooks (2017, Walton HS, GA) added in a grand slam in the top of the fourth. 

Weston Bizzle (2017, A. Crawford Mosley HS, FL) took home the win for the Jackets for his two innings on the mound to start out the game. Bizzle allowed no hits or runs while walking none, striking out three and finding the strike zone on 71 percent of his pitches with a fastball averaging 85 mph and topping out at 87 mph.


Prospects Roll to 10-5 Win

The Indiana Prospects withstood a five-run third inning to take the win 10-5 over the Xtreme Baseball Red 15U. Lucas Florek (2017, Western HS, IN) paved the way for the Prospects offense to knock in 13 runs with three of his own, finishing the game 3-4 at the plate with two runs scored and a double as Cole Barr (2017, Yorktown HS, IN) knocked out a solo homer in the third.

The Xtreme offense put up a fight with 11 hits of their own as Nathan Vetter (2017, North Port HS, FL) provided the power with a 2-4 game at the plate with two RBIs and a run scored.

Corbin Cox (2017, Pendleton Heights HS, IN) took home the win for the Prospects for his four and two thirds innings on the mound. Cox allowed six hits and one earned run while walking none and striking out three on 66 total pitches. 

Gamers Roll to Blowout Win

The Bigstix Gamers spent two innings scoreless, but exploded with 15 unanswered runs to close out the game and take a 15-1 win over the Big League Baseball Academy in five innings. The Gamers' offense knocked in 11 hits from seven different players and was led by Joah Curry (2017, Locust Grove HS, GA). Curry had a perfect game at the plate, finishing 3-3 with three runs scored and a stolen base. 

Blake Hudgins (2016, Jones County HS, GA) picked up the win for the Gamers for his three innings on the mound to start out the game. Hudgins allowed three hits and one earned run while walking none, striking out four and finding the strike zone on 71 percent of his pitches with a fastball averaging 80 mph and topping out at 83 mph.

The Academy struggled to find success on the mound, as five pitchers logged time with Alex Analytis (2017, Joliet Catholic Academy, IL) taking the loss. Analytis tossed two and a third innings and allowed five hits and seven runs, six earned, while walking one and striking out one. 

Astros Ride Huge Third Inning to Blowout Win

The East Cob Astros 15U used a ten-run third inning to spark the blowout win over the Lake Norman Copperheads 14-1 in four innings. Davis Schwartz (2016, Grady HS, GA) led the Astros offense to ten team hits with two of his own to finish 2-3 at the plate with a game-high four RBIs, a run scored, a stolen base and a triple. Kanye Pfeifer (2018, Cox Mill HS, NC) sparked the Copperhead offense with a perfect 2-2 game at the plate with a double.

Emory Otott (2016, North Paulding HS, GA) picked up the win for the Astros for his full game of three and two thirds innings on the mound. Otott allowed five hits and one earned run while walking one and striking out three with a fastball averaging 73 mph and topping out at 76 mph.


Juice Cruise to 13-3 Win

Chet Lemon's Juice cruised to a 13-3 win over the Norther Valley Ravens 15U after a six-run fifth inning iced the game. The Juice offense logged 12 hits from nine different players and was led by Brady Allen (2018, George W. Jenkins HS, FL). Allen went a perfect 2-2 at the plate with three RBIs and a run scored. 

Both bullpens dug deep to find success on the mound as a combined seven different players logged time at the mound before Zachary Coleman (2016, Deltona HS, FL) picked up the win for the Juice. Coleman tossed three innings and allowed two hits and no runs while both walking and striking out three with a fastball averaging 79 mph and topping out at 82 mph.


Banditos Rally Late, Win 3-2

The North Georgia Hurricanes got on the scoreboard first with two runs in the first, but surrendered the lead after two late runs in the sixth to fall to the Austin Banditos 3-2. Both teams knocked in six runs with Evan McDonald (2017, Pfulgerville HS, TX) leading the way for the Banditos with a 2-4 game at the plate with an RBI and a double. Nathan Haines (2017, Buford HS, GA) powered the Hurricane offense with a perfect 3-3 game at the plate with two RBIs and a double. 

Daniel Cole (2017, Harker Heights HS, TX) took home the win for the Hurricanes after spending all seven innings on the mound. Cole allowed six hits and two runs, both earned, while walking two and striking out ten with a fastball averaging 80 mph and topping out at 84 mph.


Jackets Hold On for 4-2 Win

The Georgia Jackets 15U National held on for a 4-2 win over the NY Gothams after answering two Gotham runs in the sixth with one of their own to ice the game. The Jackets knocked in four team hits and were helped out on the base path by four stolen bases.

Patrick McNamara (2017, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA) picked up the win for the Jackets for his six innings on the mound. McNamara allowed two hits and two runs, neither earned, while walking two and striking out eight with a fastball averaging 75 and topping out at 80 mph.

Michael Farinelli (2017, Horace Mann HS, NY) is credited with the loss for the Gothams for his three innings on the mound. Farinelli allowed two hits and three runs, one earned, while walking three and striking out one with a fastball averaging 75 mph and topping out at 77 mph.

Xtreme Routs MPi 15U

Xtreme Baseball Navy 15U routed MPi 15U behind an offense that knocked in 21 hits, took advantage of five MPi fielding errors and scored 11 runs in the sixth inning. Every member of the Xtreme offense logged a run scored as Trey Pearce (2016, Gulf Coast HS, FL) provided the power to lead the offense. Pearce finished a perfect 3-3 at the plate with a game-high six RBIs, three runs scored, a walk and a double. 

Christian Menendez (2016, Bishop Verot HS, FL) took the win for the Xtreme for his two and two thirds innings on the mound, allowing seven hits and four runs, all earned, while walking three and striking out four. Mendez showed a good, easy follow through while staying tall on the backside during delivery of a fastball averaging 79 mph and topping out at 83 mph.

Alvaro Alvarez (2017, Westminster Christian HS, FL) is credited with the loss for MPi for his three innings on the mound. Alvarez allowed seven hits and eight runs, all earned, while walking two and striking out none.

Balanced Attack Gives Starz Shutout Win

The Arena Starz 15U shutout the BRI Playmakers 4-0 with a balanced attack that yielded seven hits from six different players with three of those hits going for extra bases. Patrick Lightner (2016, Landon HS, MD) led the Starz offense with a 2-4 game at the plate with two runs scored, a stolen base and a double. 

The Starz bullpen put four pitchers on the mound to help with the shutout as Hayden Seig (2016, Mechanicsburg Area HS, PA) took home the win. Seig tossed two innings to start out the game and allowed two hits and no runs while walking two and striking out three with a fast approach to the plate on a fastball averaging 79 mph and topping out at 81 mph.

Ben Benson (2017, Providence HS, FL) is credited with the loss for the Playmakers for his five innings on the mound, allowing four hits and three runs, one earned, while walking two and striking out four. Benson showed good command around the plate with all his pitches and works fast with mound presence on a fastball averaging 69 mph and topping out at 73 mph.

Elite Hold On For 4-2 Win

The CFBL 2017 Elite survived a late run from the Batting 1.000 Heat to take the 4-2 win. Austin Mitchell (2018, Lake Mary HS, FL) led the way for the Elite offense to knock in seven team hits with two of his own to finish a perfect 2-2 at the plate with an RBI, a run scored and a double. 

Jon "Jack" Quayle (2018, Lake Brantley HS, FL) took home the win for the Elite for his five and a third innings on the mound to start out the game. Quayle allowed five hits and two runs, one earned, while walking three and striking out two with a fastball averaging 73 mph and topping out at 77 mph.

TJ Rullio (2016, Wellington C. Mepham HS, NY) went the distance on the mound for the Heat, tossing all seven innings and allowing seven hits and four runs, two earned, while walking one and striking out three with a fastball averaging 72 mph and topping out at 77 mph.

Lousiville Slugger Comes up Big Late

Team Elite Louisville Slugger grabbed five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, to defeat the Palm Beach Select, 5-3.

Tristan Buckley (2016, Calvert Hall College, MD) went 2-3 with two singles, and one run.  Cole Tate (2017, Oconee County HS, GA) went 2-3 with two singles, and one RBI.  Robert Brooks (2017, Wheeler HS, GA) and John Samuel Skenker (2017, Deerfield-Windsor HS, GA) contributed with a double a piece in the game.  Terence Norman (2016, Kennesaw Mountain HS, GA) went 2-3 as well with two singles, one run, and one RBI.

On the mound, Charlie Brown (2017, Sevier County HS, TN) pitched 5.2 innings of work, giving up one earned run on five hits, and struck out 10.  He had a fastball that averaged 77-80 mph and topped out at 82 mph.

For the Select, Xavier Edwards (2018, Trinity Christian Academy, FL) went 2-3 with two singles and a run scored. Cal Bocchino (2017, Pope John Paul II, FL) contributed with a double in the game.


So Cal Survives Late Rally, Wins 6-5

The So Cal NTT 15U survived the tying run on third two and late runs from the Jacksonville Warriors 15U White to take the win 6-5. The So Cal offense knocked in six hits from four players and was led by JonJon Conahan (2017, St. Joseph Regional HS, NJ). Conahan went a perfect 2-2 at the plate with an RBI and two runs scored with a triple. 

The So Cal bullpen dug deep to find success in the game, putting four pitchers on the mound before Quinn Donohoe (2016, Cape Henlopen HS, DE) picked up the win. Donohoe tossed two innings and allowed three hits and three runs, all earned, while walking three and striking out three with a fastball averaging 73 mph and topping out at 76 mph. 

Bradley Parker (2017, Atlantic Coast HS, FL) is credited with the loss for the Warriors for his four innings on the mound. Parker allowed six hits and six runs, three earned, while walking two and striking out three with a fastball averaging 70 mph and topping out at 75 mph.

All Star Baseball Academy grabbed the shutout victory over SWFL Grey 15U, 4-0.

Michael Smith (2017, Springfield HS, PA) pitched a complete game for All Star, giving up two hits, and struck out six.  He had a fastball that peaked at 76 mph, and mixed in a handful of curveballs and changeups for his off-speed pitches.

At the plate, J.J. Freeman (2017, Downington West Campus, PA) went 2-3 with two singles and one run.  Matt Daller (2017, Malvern Preparatory, PA) and Brian Hyland (2017, Haverford HS, PA) contributed with doubles a piece in the game.

For SWFL, Gus Cunningham (2016, Canterbury HS, FL) went 2-2 at the plate, with two singles.

Marucci ArkLaTex 15 Rushworth rolled to a 14-6 win over the Southfield Cardinals in five innings with help from five Cardinal fielding errors. The Rushworth offense logged 11 hits and was led by Preston Lonadier (2017, Loyola College Prep HS, LA) who finished 3-4 at the plate with an RBI and a run scored. Aaron Abney (2016, University of Detroit Jesuit HS, MI) countered with a 2-3 game at the plate for the Cardinals while picking up an RBI and a run scored. 

Brooks Rushworth (2018, Sterlington HS, LA) took home the win for Marucci for his three innings on the mound. Rushworth allowed four hits and two runs, both earned, while both walking and striking out two with a fastball averaging 75 mph and topping out at 78 mph.

The Chain Dirtdawgs hung on to win, 8-6, over the SWFL Navy 15U.

Kamrin Waddy (2017, Savannah Christian Prep, GA) and Ben Jackson (2017, Savannah Christian Prep, GA) had a triple a piece for the Dirtdawgs offense.  Both Zack Brockman (2017, Savannah Christian Prep, GA) and Bryce Griggs (2016, Savannah Christian Prep, GA) went 1-2 in the game, with one run.  Griggs finished with an RBI as well.

On the mound, Zach Mainor (2016, Wayne County HS, GA) pitched 1.1 innings of work, and displayed a fastball that topped out at 83 mph.  Brockman also pitched three innings, giving up one hit and struck out five, and had a fastball that peaked at 82 mph.

For SWFL, Josh Ashby (2017, South Fort Meyers HS, FL) and Mathew Dinorcia (2017, Seacrest County Day, FL) went 1-2 in the game, with one run scored.

Team Demarini of Wisconsin 15U routed the Atlanta Blue Jays 15U 12-0 in four innings despite only logging four hits. The Demarini offense was helped out by 15 team walks and was led by Issiah Glidden (2017, Nicolet HS, WI). Glidden went 1-2 at the plate with three RBIs and a run scored with a walk. Gavin Levy (2017, Coral Springs HS, FL) led the Blue Jay offense and finished 2-2 in the batter's box.

Alex Olear (2017, Tremper HS, WI) picked up the win for Team Demarini for his full game of three and two thirds innings on the mound. Olear allowed four hits and no runs while walking one and striking out seven with a fastball averaging 66 mph and topping out at 75 mph.

Jafet Bonilla (2017, Central Gwinnett HS, GA) took the loss for the Blue Jays for his two innings on the mound to start out the game. Bonilla allowed two hits and seven runs, six earned, while walking ten and striking out one.

Teel Ravens grab 1-0 Victory

The Tell Ravens edged out one run in the bottom of the seventh inning, that proved to be the difference, as they defeated FTB Game Day Bats 15U, 1-0.

Alex Norman (2017, Don Bosco Prep, NJ) went 1-3 in the game with a single.  David Mann (2016, Waldwick HS, NJ) and Jack Darrow (2017, Mahwah HS, NJ) went  1-2 at the plate, with a single a piece.  Ryan Zambardi (2017, Waldwick HS, NJ) went 1-2, and scored the only run in the game.  On the mound, Darrow pitched four innings of work, giving up one hit, and struck out five.

For FTB, Matt Wiseman (2017, Eustis HS, FL) and Tyler Edling (2017, James W. Mitchell, FL) had a double a piece in the game.  Christopher Congdon (2017, Haines City Senior, FL) pitched four innings, giving up four hits, and struck out five.


Shockwave Rout Hardballers 9-1

The SC Shockwave routed the Florida Hardballers 15U 9-1 in five innings behind an offense that knocked in ten team hits and was led by Charlton Commander (2018, Wilson Hall HS, SC). Commander finished a perfect 2-2 at the plate with a game-high three RBIs and two runs scored while spending one inning on the mound, allowing one hit and no runs while walking none and striking out one. The Hardballers offense struggled to get going, logging only three runs while committing four fielding errors.

Griffin Jester (2017, Belton Honea Path HS, SC) picked up the win for the Shockwave for his three innings on the mound. Jester allowed two hits and one earned run while walking one and striking out four with a fastball averaging 77 mph and topping out at 81 mph.

Florida Burn Cruise to 8-1 Win

The Florida Burn 2017 Navy rolled to a blowout win over the Banditos of Austin after a five-run fourth inning to ice the game. The Burn offense knocked in 12 hits from eight different players with four of those players logging two-hit games. Paul Coumoulos (2017, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic HS, FL) powered the Burn offense with a perfect 2-2 game at the plate with an RBI and a run scored with a triple. 

After putting five different pitchers on the mound, Pablo Garabitos (2018, Lakewood Ranch HS, FL) picked up the win for the Burn for his three innings to start out the game. Garabitos allowed no hits or runs while walking none and striking out four with a fastball averaging 72 mph and topping out at 75 mph.

East Cobb Nationals edge Knights Prime

The East Cobb Nationals 15U edged by the IBAHS Knights Prime, 7-6.

Leadoff hitter Zach Cole (2016, Cherokee HS, GA) went 2-3 at the plate, with one run.  Jerry Freeman (2015, Westlake HS, GA) and Mitchell Ketcham (2017, Sequoyah HS, GA) had a double a piece in the game.  Ryan Fortgang (2016, Etowah HS, GA) went 2-3 with a triple, one run, and one RBI.

Stephen Owen (2017, Kings Ridge Christian HS, GA) pitched 4.2 innings of work, giving up two earned runs on eight hits, and struck out five.  He had a fastball that topped out at 78 mph, and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.

The IBAHS Knights needed two runs in the final inning to take down the East Cobb Tigers 15U 4-3 after a walk-off two-out bases-loaded single by Delvin Perez (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR). Perez finished 2-4 at the plate with an RBI to lead the Knights' offense to five hits. Alex Parham (2017, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA) sparked the Tigers with a perfect 2-2 game at the plate with an RBI and a run scored.

Gabriel Dominguez (2016, International Baseball Academy, PR) took the win for the Knights for his two and a third innings on the mound to close out the game. Dominguez held the Tigers to one hit and no runs while walking two and striking out three with a fastball averaging 69 mph and topping out at 72 mph.


Columbia Angels defeat Warriors 8-3

The Columbia Angels defeated the Jacksonville Warriors 15U Black, 8-3.

Dominic Cox (2017, William B. Travis HS, TX) led the way, going 2-3 with a triple, single, and four RBIs.  Parker Osburn (2017, Clear Creek HS, TX) went 2-4 in the game, with two runs.  Cole Turney (2017, William B. Travis HS, TX) contributed with a double, and one run.

On the mound, Josh Lapierre (2017, George Ranch HS, TX) pitched two innings of work, giving up no hits, and struck out three.  He had a good, balance delivery, and flashed a fastball that peaked at 80 mph, and mixed in a handful of curveballs.

For the Warriors, Joey Fletcher (2017, Mandarin HS, FL) and Tristin Adams (2017, Mandarin HS, FL) each went 1-2 in the game.

The Baseball Scoutz rolled to a 10-4 win over the Connecticut Wolfpack 15U behind an offense knocking in nine team runs from six different players. Bryce Harnage (2017, New Southeast Bulloch HS, GA) led the way for the Scoutz with a 3-4 game at the plate with two RBIs and a run scored with a triple. 

Michaels Waters (2017, Brunswick HS, GA) took the win for the Scoutz for his three and a third innings on the mound with 58 pitches thrown. Waters allowed two hits and one earned run while walking three and striking out none with a fastball averaging 69 mph and topping out at 74 mph.

Holley Leads Copperheads to Win

The CBA Copperheads got a standout game from pitcher Daniel Holley (2017, Harris County HS, GA) and took the win over the S3 Texans 4-0 with the help of six Texan fielding errors. Holley tossed the full game for the Copperheads and allowed three hits and no runs while walking two and striking out 11 batters with a three-pitch rotation featuring a curveball as an out-pitch in the 60-69 mph range and a fastball averaging 70 mph and topping out at 73 mph.

Chain Gold defeat Riverside Riot 4-2

Chain Gold grabbed three runs in the fourth inning that seemed to be the difference, as they went on to defeat Riverside Riot Baseball Club, 4-2.

Josh Long (2016, Effingham County HS, GA) led the way going 1-3 at the plate, with a double, one stolen base, and one run scored.  Alex Mills (2017, Mt. De Sales Academy, GA) also went 1-3 with two runs.

On the mound, Frankee Edwards (2017, Warner Robins, GA) pitched 5.1 innings of work, giving up two earned runs on six hits, and struck out eight.  He had a good fastball that peaked at 81 mph, and mixed in a good 71 mph curveball.

For Riverside, Andrew Navigato (2016, Polytechnic HS, CA) went a perfect 3-3 at the plate, with one run, one RBI, and one stolen base in the game.


PBC PAL Rolls to Easy Win

PBC PAL 15U got the offense rolling and took the win 8-0 over the Manatee Marlins in five innings. The PBC offense knocked in ten hits from six different players and was led by Reese Albert (2017, Jupiter HS, FL) and Andrew Lee (2018, Park Vista Community HS, FL). Both players put in perfect games at the mound with Albert going 3-3 with an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen bases as Lee added in a 2-2 game at the plate with three RBIs and a run scored with a triple. 

Cameron Lauer (2017, Palm Beach Central HS, FL) picked up the win for PBC PAL for his four and a third innings on the mound. Lauer allowed two hits and no runs while walking none and striking out five by finding the strike zone on 68 percent of his pitches.

Next Level 15U defeats Florida Pokers 6-2

Next Level 15U defeated the Florida Pokers Underclass Carolina, 6-2.  The Pokers scored three runs in the third, and two more runs in the fourth, as they went on to the easy victory.

Leadoff hitter Gunner Smith (2016, A. Crawford Mosley HS, FL) went a perfect 2-2 in the game, with one run.  Bryson Horne (2017, Blountstown HS, FL) went 2-3, with a double, single, and two RBIs.  Hank Evans (2017, Lincoln HS, FL) showed off his speed with stealing two bases in the game.

Zane Stephens (2017, Suwannee HS, FL) pitched six complete innings of work, giving up one earned run on three hits, and struck out four.  He had good command on both sides of the plate, showing the ability to attack the hitters.  He had a fastball that peaked at 80 mph, and mixed in a good 12/6 curveball, and a tight-breaking slider, as his off-speed pitches.

For the Pokers, Dusty Rogers (2017, Navarre HS, FL) went 1-2 with a double and one RBI in the game.  Jack Durkin (2017, Cardinal Gibbons HS, FL) went 1-3 with a run scored.

Scorpions Panhandle 2017 used a big five-run fourth inning, to defeat the Florida Legends 15U, 7-0.

Jonathon Drose (2017, North Florida Christian, FL) led the way going 2-3 at the plate, with two doubles, two runs, and two RBIs.  Keith Lyle (2017, Bainbridge HS, GA) also went 2-3 with a double, single, one run, and one RBI.

Evan Johnson (2017, Suwannee HS, FL) pitched four innings of work, giving up five hits, and struck out three.  He had a fastball that peaked at 77 mph, and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.

For the Legends, leadoff hitter Brian Ozuna (2016, Miami Killian Senior, FL) went 2-3 at the plate, with two singles.  Alejandro Mosquera (2017, Miami Killian Senior, FL) contributed with a double in the game.


Defenses Dominate in Prime Win

Defenses and pitching reigned supreme in a low scoring game that saw the Elite Squad 15U Prime take down the Bad Boys 1-0. The two teams combined for a total of five hits and five walks.

Trent Valentine (2017, John Jay East Fishkill HS, NY) took home the win for the Elite Squad for his five innings on the mound. Valentine allowed no hits or runs while walking one and striking out five with a fastball averaging 81 mph and topping out at 84 mph before being relieved in the sixth.

Adam Reis (2016, Colonial HS, FL) is credited with the loss for the bad boys for his full game of seven innings on the mound allowing three hits and one unearned run while walking four and striking out five. Reis showed good command all around the plate with all his pitches and sets up batters with the ability to pitch out of trouble and a fastball averaging 84 mph and topping out at 87 mph.

Team Elite Prime cruise to 14-1 Victory

Team Elite Prime defeated Top Notch Baseball in convincing fashion, 14-1, and outhit their opponent 13-1 in the game.

Beau Hanna (2017, Winder-Barrow HS, GA) and Marlin Willis (2017, Redan HS, GA) contributed to the offense with a triple a piece.  Hanna finished the game going 2-3, with two runs, and three RBIs.  Willis finished a perfect 3-3 at the plate, with three runs scored and three RBIs.  Sam Hall (2017, Topsail HS, NC) also went 2-3 with a double, and one run.  Harris White (2016, Auburn HS, AL) went 2-2 with one run and three RBIs.

On the mound, Andrew Naismith (2016, Auburn HS, AL) pitched three complete innings, giving up no hits, and struck out three.  He had a good fastball that topped out at 84 mph, and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.

For Top Notch, Michael Connelly (2016, West Henderson HS, NC) went 1-1 at the plate.

Pro Source 15U Abbott defeated Team Elite Grey, thanks to a big six-run sixth inning that seemed to be the deciding factor in the end.

Chase Harris (2017, Ponder HS, TX) went 2-3 with one run, one RBI, and one stolen base.  Austin Gross (2017, Coppell HS, TX) also went 2-3 in the game, with one run and two RBIs.  Jalen Hurt (2017, Liberty Christian HS, TX) contributed with a double.  Mason Holt (2017, Coppell HS,TX) showed off his speed with two stolen bases.

Campbell Shultz (2017, Coppell HS, TX) pitched three innings, giving up three earned runs on four hits, and displayed a fastball that peaked at 81 mph.  Will Spence (2017, Flower Mound HS, TX) pitched four innings of work, and he too showed off a good fastball that topped out at 82 mph.

For Grey, Trey Horton (2017, Allatoona HS, GA) went 1-2 with one run, and a double in the game.

Thanks to some strong pitching, No Fear defeated East Cobb Pride 15U, 8-0, in convincing fashion.

Caide Waite (2016, Carlsbad HS, CA) pitched a complete game, giving up just four hits, and struck out two.  He had a fastball that peaked at 75 mph, and did a good job of mixing in a curveball as his off-speed pitch.

At the plate, Waite went 2-3 with two singles and two runs.  Jacob Steele (2016, Great Oak HS, CA) and Austin Burke (2016, Great Oak HS, CA) each contributed to the offense with a double a piece.  Burke finished with two runs and an RBI, and Steele had one run and one RBI in the game.

For the Pride, Randall Quarles (2016, New Manchester HS, GA) and Tucker Summer (2017, Dalton HS, GA) went 1-2 in the game, with a single.  Summer also had a stolen base.

Le Bassett (2017, Tift County HS, GA) led the Black offense, going 2-3 with a double and one RBI.  Milan Ellerson (2017, Camden County HS, GA) also went 2-3 with two singles in the game.  Leadoff hitter Austin Hittinger (2017, Houston County HS, GA) contributed with a double in the game.

Dallas Tigers-Elliott grabbed the 5-4 victory over Team Elite White, thanks to a four-run third inning.

Connor Mushinski (2017, Argyle HS, TX), Luke McKellar (2017, Southlake Carroll HS, TX), and Seth Green (2017, Argyle HS, TX) all contributed to the Tigers-Elliott offense with a double in the game.  Green also had a stolen base.

Mushinski also pitched five innings of work, giving up two earned runs on seven hits, and struck out seven in the game.  He had a fastball that peaked at 80 mph, and mixed in a good curveball as his off-speed pitch.

For Team Elite White, Jack Thompson (2016, Lambert HS, GA) and Trenton Maddox (2017, Winder-Barrow HS, GA) each had a double in the game.  Each finished with a run and Thompson had an RBI as well.

Flanagan, FL) led the way, going 3-4 at the plate, with two doubles, a single, and two RBIs.  Nicolas Fusco (2017, Monsignor Edward Pace, FL) went 2-2 with two singles, and one run scored.  Andres Sanchez (2017, Mami Killian Senior, FL) went 2-4 as well, with a double, one run, and one RBI.  Raymond Gil (2017, Gulliver Schools, FL) also went 2-4, with one run and one RBI.  Tyler Grant (2018, Gulliver Schools, FL) contributed with a double of his own as well.

On the mound, Roger Garcia (2016, Archbishop Edward McCarthy, FL) pitched six complete innings, giving up four hits, and struck out six.  He showed good command, and was around the plate with all of his pitches.  He had a good fastball that peaked at 83 mph, and mixed in a good curveball.

Four Florida Burn 2017 Pennant pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter, as they went on to shutout MyScoutDay - Best, 10-0.

Lyon Richardson (2018, Jenson Beach HS, FL) pitched two innings of work, striking out three and giving up one walk.  He had a fastball that topped out at 84 mph, and mixed in a couple of curveballs for his off-speed pitches.  Graham Hoffman (2017, Calvary Christian HS, FL) pitched an inning, striking out two, and showing an impressive fastball as well that topped out at 82 mph.

At the plate, Douglas Nikhazy (2018, West Orange HS, FL) went a perfect 3-3 in the game, with a double, two runs, and two RBIs.  Hoffman also contributed to the offense with a double of his own.

The Carrollwood Gators 2017 defeated the Banditos Houston 15U, 12-1, in convincing fashion.  From the beginning of the game, the Gators' offense was too much for the Banditos.

Bernard Sanchez (2016, Leto HS, FL) went 2-2 in the game with a double, one run scored and one RBI.  Alex Mocny (2017, Jesuit HS, FL) went 2-4 with two double, two runs scored, and one RBI.  CJ Van Eyk (2017, Steinbrenner HS, FL) went 2-4 as well with a double, and two RBIs.  Kenny Rodriguez (2017, Gaither HS, FL) contributed as well with a double and two RBIs of his own.
