An elite roster packed with college baseball’s best, the National Team is essentially followed wherever they decide to travel by a massive contingent of scouting directors and crosscheckers. That team had no bigger standout in 2013 than UC Irvine’s Taylor Sparks. And, while Sparks has put together a solid college resume, it may have been this particular stint that put him mostly squarely on the scouting world’s map.
