OF Monte Harrison (Lee’s Summit (MO) West HS): Harrison is a nationally recruited football wide receiver but baseball is likely to compete hard for his future services. He’s a top of the scale defensive centerfielder with an elite level arm and shows lots of potential as a right handed hitter.
LHP Lake Dabney (Dripping Springs HS, Driftwood, TX): Dabney is a 6-6/190 southpaw who topped out at 89 mph with a 81 mph slider and a 77 mph change up. One PG scout compared him to Matt Purke at the same age, while the White Sox Chris Sale was also mentioned as a comparison.
RHP/C Matt Myers (Churchhill HS, San Antonio, TX): Myers pitched steadily in the upper 80’s with lots of sinking action from a low effort delivery and he’s been in the low 90’s in the recent past. That arm strength also translates to the outfield, where he threw 95 mph and behind the plate. He’s a two-way prospect who has lots of right handed bat speed.
