There are pros and cons to being the teammates of a potential No. 1 overall selection. Some extra scouting eyes in for the weekend to check out a certain pitcher can’t hurt, but at least from a media perspective, the less ballyhooed of the two may get somewhat overlooked. That’s the scenario Oklahoma’s Dillon Overton has fallen into this spring. The number two starter on the Sooners’ pitching staff behind Jonathan Gray, Overton has been able to pitch in a certain degree of anonymity this spring, as all eyes in the baseball world have been trained on the flame throwing Gray.
