Perfect Game 2012 No. 1 Summer Collegiate Team Newport Gulls

As the 2012 summer collegiate baseball season has come to a close, Perfect Game is preparing to release its unrivaled coverage of the top prospects that played in 25 leagues across the nation.  Included in this will be a thorough breakdown of Team USA's Collegiate National Team, and when done there will be over 800 scouting reports available.

The lists for each league will be released first, and will be available for free, providing a ranking of the top prospects.  Shortly after the league lists are released, more detailed overall league and prospect reports will follow.  The links for those features will be added to the chart as shown below when available.

Please visit this link to view the content schedule for the top prospects from the 2011 summer collegiate season, and visit the Perfect Game Summer Collegiate page for links to content and top prospect lists from years prior to 2011.

The leagues as listed below are ranked by their overall strength from 1 to 25 (Rank), with columns showing how many teams played in the league (Teams), how many prospects will be profiled (No.) and the top prospect from each league.

The rankings are based on the combination of elite-level prospects and depth of potential pro-level prospects, and can change marginally from year to year depending on the talent in each league. The league that has made the most-significant gain from 2011 to 2012 is the Perfect Game Collegiate League, while the Coastal Plain League has seen the biggest dip.
