There's plenty of Florida flavor in the latest PG Top 50 rankings, as the major conferences and others prepare for conference tournament play this week.

Florida State rebounded from an iffy weekend two weeks ago in a big way over the weekend with a home series win over a very good North Carolina State club, and remains No. 1 in the latest rankings. Meanwhile, Florida captured a road series win over Auburn over the weekend and is No. 2 entering the SEC tournament.

Oregon, Rice and Baylor round out the top five after having successful weeks, while LSU, which captured an impressive road series win over South Carolina, leapfrogged the Gamecocks and now sits No. 6 in the latest rankings. Meanwhile, the Gamecocks are No. 7 and are followed by Texas A&M, UCLA and North Carolina in the top 10.

Other notables include Arizona and Stanford making significant moves, going from No. 15 to No. 11 and No. 16 to No. 12, respectively, after positive weekends. Meanwhile, Purdue and Kentucky each made significant drops after lackluster weekends. The Boilermakers dropped two of three to Iowa and moved from No. 12 to No. 17, while Kentucky moved from No. 10 to No. 18 after getting swept at Mississippi State.

Teams that dropped out of this week's rankings include Auburn, St. John's and South Florida. Meanwhile, new entrants include No. 48 New Mexico, No. 49 Wichita State and No. 50 New Mexico State.

The PG Top 50 is released each Monday morning during the college baseball season.
