The following list is the opinion of the scout/writer. An official Top Prospect list from the event will be posted after all the reports have been written and grades assigned.

1. C Reese McGuire (Kentwood HS, Kent, WA): Left handed hitting catcher with all the tools to be a very high pick in the 2013 draft. Plays catcher with shortstop- like quickness, has superior blocking skills and easy plus arm strength.

2. SS Drew Ward (2014/Leedey (OK) HS: Athletic prodigy who should have a firm grasp on top prospect status in the 2014 class for some time. Big time left handed power at the plate and advanced hitting skills. Likely a third basemen in the future.

3.  3B/RHP Travis Demeritte (Winder Barrow HS, Statham, GA): Very athletic player, outstanding defensive tools at third base with a nose for the spectacular play, quick hands at the plate with line drive gap power. Also threw 91 mph off the mound.

4. SS Oscar Mercado (Gaither HS, Tampa, FL): 6-1/170 with young body, long limbs and excellent physical projection. Smooth and easy defensive actions in the middle infield and the ball jumps off his bat far harder than you would expect given his wiry build.

5. SS Andy McGuire (James Madison HS, Oakton, VA): 6-1/180 middle infielder, makes hard plays look easy on defense due to his athletic ability and plays with flair and hustle. Strong enough to drive the gaps with the bat and should continue to get stronger.
