Winners announced for Perfect Game USA's Home Run Derby

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Sept. 14, 2009) -- Perfect Game USA is proud to announce the winners of the 4th annual Chuck Fulton Memorial Home Run Derby that was held at Perfect Game Field on Saturday, Sept. 12. A total of 93 youngsters participated in the event that's named in memory of Chuck Fulton, a longtime baseball supporter in Cedar Rapids.

The Home Run Derby was sponsored by Perfect Game, the Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball club, New Era and Rawlings. Additional support was provided by Metro Studios and Lucky Awards. The Derby was free for all youngsters 12-and-under. There were 80 boys and 13 girls in the event. All of the participants received a free T-shirt and were shown on the JumboTron scoreboard at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The youngest slugger was just 3 years old.
