The realities of a 6:15 a.m. flight across the country Friday morning to Long Beach, California, and the Area Code Games will keep the recap of the fourth and final day of the 2016 East Coast Professional Showcase brief and simple.

The star of the day was definitely lefthanded hitting slugger
Baron Radcliff (Norcross, Ga.).  The 6-foot-4, 215-pound outfielder has a very similar prospect profile as PG All-American and fellow Georgia resident Terry Fuller (Griffin, Ga.).  Radcliff had been quiet for the first three days of the event but changed that in three at-bats.  The first trip to the plate ended with a hard line drive out to the left fielder but it was a quality swing and contact.  The second trip to the plate showed Radcliff's raw power, as he lifted a home run into the right-center field stands, probably carrying about 400 feet.  The third at-bat was the most impressive.  Radcliff worked the count full and, obviously looking to duplicate his previous at-bat, reached out on an outside fastball, angling his entire upper body towards the pitch to get around it, and drilled a mammoth no-doubt home run, again to right-center field.  The sheer power on a pitch that shouldn't even have been pulled was awesome.

Fuller had a good day himself, taking a number of solid swings and picking up a ground-rule double to straightaway center field.
