College ball returns to LakePoint

Mother Nature continues to rear her ugly head this week and into this coming weekend, causing several teams to re-schedule, postpone, cancel and/or move their weekend series. Similar to last weekend, when programs such as Louisville and Tennessee traveled to Emerson, Ga. to play games at the new Perfect Game Park South fields at LakePoint Sports, more teams will travel a little further south than initially anticipated this coming weekend in search of more friendly playing conditions.

The Cincinnati Bearcats, led by Perfect Game's No. 20 overall prospect eligible for this year's draft, Ian Happ, will play the University of Iowa in a three-game series that begins on Friday afternoon. Another Big Ten program will also be in attendance, Maryland, as they play Appalachian State for three games of their own.

Murray State and Dayton – who both participated in games at LakePoint last weekend – return to Georgia for a three-game set against one another, while Eastern Kentucky also returns, this time to play Bowling Green.
