Trending Up:
The four newcomers to the rankings this week – Mosley (Fla.), Buchanan (Fla.), Dana Hills (Calif.), and Haines City (Fla.) – obviously all make large leaps this week. The biggest jump is Mosley (Fla.), who jump all the way from outside of the rankings to #19 overall. Buchanon (CA) and Dana Hills (Calif.) both jump into the mid-20s from outside of the rankings, and Haines City (Fla.) finds themselves in the back half. Lambert (Ga.) moves back into the top 10 after falling all the way to 12 from the preseason No. 1 position. Southlake Carroll took a pretty big leap as well, getting up to No. 40 from No. 50, after a week that saw them remain undefeated.

Trending Down:
Georgia schools Parkview and Kennesaw Mountain both took a small tumble this week, Parkview down to No. 9 from No. 4 and Kennesaw Mountain down to No. 12 from No. 6. Both had solid weeks but still took losses, hence the drops in the rankings. Huntington Beach (Calif.) has started the season at a subpar 2-5, which has seen them fall all the way out of the rankings. They have such a talented squad, however, that they could very easily see themselves back on this list in the coming weeks. Aliso Niguel (Calif.) fell out of the rankings as well, after being the 29th best team in the country last week. Lassiter (Ga.) and Regis Jesuit (Colo.) also dropped out of the rankings. Puyallup (Wash.) dropped a few spots after a loss, but the story here is that this is their first loss in well over a year, as they went undefeated in 2014.

Staying Even:
A few teams haven't started their seasons yet, and the rankings have reflected that by not moving their positions severely. Moeller (Ohio), Brother Rice (Mich.), Hickory (Va.), Westminster Christian (Mo.), St. Thomas Aquinas (Kan.) and Poly Prep Country Day (N.Y.) all more or less stayed the same because they haven't even played any games yet.
