Nick Barnes
RHP - 2017 - Katy, TX

Barnes impressed during his time on the mound as he ran his fastball up to 88 mph (tops of the event) and proceeded to sit in the mid-80s throughout. His arm action is both short and quick and he proved able to miss bats with his fastball throughout the game while spinning a curveball in the low-70s.
Dillon Nesbit
C - 2017 - Spring, TX
Angelina College
Nesbitt is a strongly built 5-foot-11, 182-pound receiver who showed well behind the plate with his ability to frame pitches and help steal borderline strikes. He has impressive arm strength both behind the plate (81 mph and event best 1.86 pop time) and on the mound where he was up to 86 mph with a nice feel for a late diving changeup.
Ryan Tackett
OF - 2017 - Spring, TX
Uncommitted
Tackett might be a physical 6-foot-3, 215-pound athlete but he posted a sub-7 second 60-yard dash though his best tool is the bat. A switch-hitter, Tackett showed big strength from either side of the plate though his loudest contact both in BP and live action came from the left side with hard jump coming off.
Alejandro Amador
SS - 2017 - Spring, TX
Clarendon College
A middle infielder, Amador showed off his tools both in game and during the drills portion as he ran the second fastest sixty, clocking in with a 6.70. He shows light defensive actions on his feet and found the barrel against live pitching with quickness to hands and a feel for the barrel.
Brice Armistead
LHP - 2017 - Katy, TX
Blinn College
Armistead is an interesting athlete and though he's listed as a primary lefthanded pitcher he still ran a 6.82 60-yard, a tool he put on display with a nice diving catch in left field. He also threw 85 mph from both the outfield and on the mound while flashing a tight breaking ball at 70 mph with depth.
Reece Easterling
RHP - 2017 - College Station, TX
Stephen F. Austin/Temple College
Easterling showed big arm strength throughout the weekend as he led the event in both top velocities from the outfield and the infield. His best throw from the outfield registered at 88 mph while his top infield throw was 86 mph showing a clean, fluid arm action from both positions and athleticism working through the ball.
Brandon Holdren
3B - 2017 - Baytown, TX

Holdren showed well with his righthanded swing and he did a nice job of incorporating his physical strength while regularly finding the barrel. He did a nice job of repeating his swing mechanics and drove the ball well to the gaps. Holdren also showed arm strength from each position he worked out at.
Tristan McCraw
RHP - 2017 - Magnolia, TX
Texas State
McCraw has a lean and twitchy 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame that helps produce a quick right arm and a top fastball of 85 mph. He's able to generate nice angle down to this glove side, held his velocity out of the stretch, and did a nice job of maintaining his arm speed on a low-70s slider.
Charles Rowell
C - 2017 - Magnolia, TX

Though listed as a primary catcher Rowell showed off his athleticism from a variety of positions and may have graded out best as an infielder. A righthanded hitter, Rowell does a nice job of incorporating his physical strength while driving the ball to some of the deeper parts of the field.
Caleb Thompson
OF - 2017 - Houston, TX

Thompson is an interesting 6-foot-1, 175-pound outfield prospect who's full of fast-twitch muscle as evidenced by his 6.62 60-yard time, best of the event. He was also up to 84 mph from the outfield and showed projectable tools with the bat thanks to quick hands while flashing strength to the pull side.
Steven Whitney
RHP - 2017 - Dickinson, TX

Whitney showed off some of the better pitchability and feel on the mound over the course of the weekend as he threw three pitches for strikes with the comfort to execute in any count. He was up to 84 mph with his fastball but showed lots of confidence in his low-70s changeup that offered late tumbling life.
Antonio Lorenzo Gauthier
3B - 2018 - Lake Charles, LA
New Orleans
Gauthier is only a 2018 prospect so recruiting coordinators should take note as his full tool set certainly plays at the next level. A lefthanded bat, Gauthier shows a short, power stroke with an aggressive approach and ability to drive both gaps. He also threw 86 mph from the outfield and 82 mph across the infield.
