Heatter's advanced pitchability is no secret and he again came out and filled up the zone, showing a strong feel for his full 3-pitch arsenal. A Rutgers commit, Heatter was up to 87 mph with solid running life and spotted both his changeup (with late fading life) and hard, late breaking 1-7 curveball (up to 79 mph) throughout the zone with command and quality feel.

Johnny Tuccillo  C - 2017 - Clinton Corners, NY
Stony Brook

Tuccillo, a Stony Brook commit, showed the highest level of catch and throw skills as he explodes out of the crouch and repeats his mechanics very well, getting on top of his throws and popped an event best 1.80 along with the biggest arm strength, 85 mph, from behind the dish. He showed a line drive stroke at the plate with the comfortability to work all fields while handling the barrel well.

Davis Payne  1B - 2017 - Rexford, NY
Richmond

A 6-foot-4 lefthanded hitter first baseman, Payne moves well on his feet defensively showing smooth and athletic actions off the bag. It's the bat though that's his loudest tool as he's able to stay very short and direct to the ball with outstanding bat speed and present ability to drive the ball very hard to all parts of the field and still projects for more.

Aljo Sujak  LHP - 2017 - Tenafly, NJ
William & Mary

With a long and lean 6-foot-2 frame the lefthanded Sujak projects well on the mound though his fastball is already up to 85 mph while showing a short and quick arm action in the back. Showing a feel for a full 3-pitch mix, Sujak commanded both his late breaking 1-7 curveball as well as his late fading changeup at the bottom of the zone at 76 mph.

Liam Dvorak  RHP - 2017 - Bayport, NY
Holy Cross

Listed at 5-foot-10, Dvorak projects well physically but already shows a quick right arm that helped produced a fastball that topped out at 86 mph and shows both a 12-6 curveball and quality changeup, both of which can be thrown for strikes. He has interesting two-way potential as he generates excellent bat speed from the left side with hard contact to the pull side.

Eric Rodriguez  SS - 2017 - Paterson, NJ
Uncommitted

Rodriguez showed big arm strength both from the outfielder, where he threw 90 mph, and across the diamond where his top throw registered at 87 mph. His arm is quick and easy as are his overall actions, particularly in the infield where he shows quick feet and range. He shows bat speed from the right side too with some separation out front.

Liam Anderson  OF - 2017 - Cherry Hill, NJ

He moves well defensively on his feet in the outfield and shows a clean arm action through the back with a higher slot release and present arm strength.

Luis DeLeon  SS - 2017 - Providence, RI
Uncommitted

DeLeon turned in one of the better and louder rounds of batting practice as he showed very simple and repeatable mechanics in the batter's box which allow him to consistently get the barrel of the bat to the ball and produced hard line drive contact with some lift out front. He stays lower through the ball defensively and shows a fast transfer with nice carry out of his hand.

Marist

Napolitano is a primary catcher who shows a quick transfer and receives well out front before gaining ground on his throws to second base where he showed his arm strength with a top throw of 76 mph. His lefthanded stick is his loudest tool however as he consistently found the barrel with solid bat speed and loft when extended out front at contact.

Peter Theodorellis  OF - 2017 - Commack, NY
Molloy College

Committed to Fairleigh Dickinson, Theodorellis showed the ability to be a two-way talent at the next level with big arm strength from the outfield and a lefthanded swing that produced hard line drive contact. A primary pitcher, Theodorellis was up to 85 mph but his slider was one of the best breaking balls of the event showing late and hard tilting life at 77 mph and is a true swing-and-miss offering.

2018 Top Prospects

Luke Gutos  SS - 2018 - Moorestown, NJ
Massachusetts

Set to begin his sophomore year of high school, Gutos really impressed this weekend on both sides of the ball and should he continue to develop, he has the talent to be a two-way at the next level. Gutos showed light actions on his feet up the middle with arm strength across as well as a clean righthanded swing with natural loft off the barrel. He was also up to 86 mph on the mound.

Shawne Eldridge  3B - 2018 - Monroe, NJ
Stockton University

Eldridge is a physically impressive and well built sophomore at 6-foot-1, 185-pounds and may be stronger than that. How short and quick his righthanded swing stands out in the batter's box as he clears his hips and projects for solid power down the road. His arm action is short and clean producing solid throws across the diamond and moves well on his feet.

Cole Dunn  RHP - 2018 - Middletown, DE
Radford

Standing at 6-foot-3, the righthanded Dunn projects well physically and already shows the ability to repeat his mechanics on a consistent basis. Up to 85 mph with his fastball, Dunn works from a high three-quarters arm slot and is able to create steady plane to his fastball. He does a nice job of turning over his slider and repeats his arm action very well on his mid-70s slider, which shows short but late tilting life.

Nick DeGennaro  RHP - 2018 - Toms River, NJ
Stony Brook

With a young, loose, and projectable frame DeGennaro showed a quick and fluid arm action that helped produce steady downhill plane on his fastball that bumped 86 mph with running life. Hudson Haskin  OF - 2018 - New York, NY
Tulane

Haskin showed well wherever he went in the showcase with quick-twitch athleticism and moves very well on his feet while showing both present arm strength and arm speed on his throws. With his righthanded stick Haskin showed quick hands and a short stroke that helped create hard contact and big jump off the barrel.

Jethro Hurt  C - 2018 - New York, NY
Franklin Pierce

Hurt showed arguably the most raw power, and power potential, of the event on Saturday, consistently delivering the barrel with extreme authority and strength to the ball, and driving the ball exceptionally hard off the bat into the air. Had the event taken place outside, it's probable that he would have hit 4-5 of his batting practice pitches out of the park.

Dillon Lifrieri  OF - 2018 - Wilton, CT
Arkansas

Lifrieri impressed in every facet of the game on Saturday, showing a strong arm (86 MPH from the OF, 85 MPH across the IF), highly loose, easy defensive actions in both spots with the quick twitch athleticism needed, and legitimate bat speed when hitting; generating good jump off the barrel to all fields.

2019 Top Prospects

Justin Kapuscinski  C - 2019 - Marlboro, NJ
Marist

Kapuscinski might only be a freshman but his present strength rivaled any in the showcase. With over the fence type potential with advanced bat speed, Kapuscinski also showed the ability to stay in on breaking balls and go to the opposite field. His arm strength behind the plate is another weapon (82 mph) as he delivered accurate throws with the ball coming cleanly out of his hand.

Joey DeChiaro  LHP - 2019 - Flemington, NJ
Old Dominion

DeChiaro may only be a freshman but he showed big time potential on the mound during his two innings. Parker Haskin  C - 2019 - Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Tulane

A switch-hitter, Haskin showed solid present tools from both sides of the plate but his lefthanded swing truly stood out with quick, loose hands and excellent bat speed for a 2019. Behind the dish he showed solid mechanics, moved well to either side while popping out of the crouch and showing nice arm strength (77 mph) on accurate throws down to second base.
