Friday Recap: Stevens strong in Eagles win

Saturday Recap: Eagles take game two, series
Sunday Recap: Funkhouser salvages series

After a two week absence the Florida Gators have re-claimed the top spot in Perfect Game's Top 25 presented by Rawlings. The Gators did what they've been doing most of the year, taking at least two of three during their weekend series in addition to their midweek contest. The previous No. 1-ranked club, Miami, lost their series at home at the hand of the defending champion Virginia Cavaliers, and also dropped a midweek contest to FAU.

The teams ranked in the middle of the Top 25 really performed poorly over the past week, and four total teams were removed altogether (California, BYU, Michigan State and Kentucky). UC Santa Barbara, Rice and North Carolina were also at risk, but it was ultimately decided that they deserved to remain for at least another week.

The upheaval allowed a few teams to make big jumps in the rankings, and also allowed four new teams to debut in relatively high positions. Oklahoma State was welcomed back after taking their series against TCU, as was Southern Miss after doing the same to Rice. UNC Wilmington and Tulane were introduced to the Top 25 for the first time this year.

Don't forget to tune in to Perfect Game College Baseball this evening from 9-11 p.m. ET on SiriusXM College Sports Nation, channel 84, with hosts Daron Sutton and Mike Rooney, as they recap an exciting weekend of baseball while looking ahead to what's next.
